Why can't MP Skywarp look like that? I'm not down for an MP+ cuz Lord knows we already get gouged on the seeker mold but why couldn't they just do him right the first time? Or 2nd or is this the 3rd time, I forget? Besides him, I was always a fan of the purple clone guy. Where's my MP version of him?

I was about to vote for Acid Storm, my first Masterpiece figure, but I have all three Thundercracker MP's and he's my favourite 'Con, plus he was one of my first five Transformers. Gotta vote for the boy in blue.

Skyward was always my fave colour scheme as a kid and that remains the case in the MP Age.

Those Barks duck reprints are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!
So glad they are back after many years out of print, I'm planning to get the whole thing. Glad they stepped up from their BS 1-2 books a year thing and put more out.

I always wanted a sunstorm, and they used to shelfwarm at my Tru, but the prices for him were too high for an old mold.

Oh yes, they're perfect. And I have all Barks in likes 3 or 4 different editions (even 5 for some stories), but this is the one I dreamt about since I was a kid.
Hey, I learnt to read, what's narration, and how to imagine adventures with those after all :)

But I think it's still 2 releases a year, like since the beginning ? (Spring and winter). Which is fine by me, there is a lot to consider with those releases.
So long as Fantagraphics keeps up the good work! (hey, look at Pogo volume 4 being delayed to infinity).
The Mickey's Gottfredson are excellent too if you wanna try some ! + They're almost done.
And thanks IDW for the Taliaferro's books, at long last!

When they first announced it, they said "x" amount, then in the second year they pumped out at least 4 books, I guess they realised they were selling?
I love getting the hardcovers, the cover pages in the back and the essays, plus the "remastered" pages, that look amazing imo - for the colors, art etc.
I also love that they confirmed the rumor of Spielberg swiping the famous Indy boulder chase scene from a Donald Duck story. Plus all the stuff he "borrowed" from Tintin! LOL

    Were they only direct market?

I bought the first book when it was first available through book depository, shipped to OZ.
Then the following year their were about 4 books out at once, I guess by the time they got them it must have been around at least a year or two after first release. By the time I had bought the first three, the next ones were up for pre-order on amazon.
I've got six total out of them so far but fell behind due to lack of $, then they started putting out the Barks ones AND the Rosa ones, and I fell more behind.
Ah well, get them all eventually. So grateful they are being published.
Then they started releasing those combo (two books one slipcover) editions, sometimes for less total than buying two normal books, that's when I went fuck it, I'll sit back and wait rather than pay full retail and miss out on those lovely slipcovers.
Also bought the first two books in the Mickey Mouse reprints they put out, by Floyd Gottfredson, but the text was so damn small and hard to read I didn't but any more of those ones.

Hey, I buy some of mine via Book Depo too.

    That... Can't be possible.

That, yes. Must be late 2013.

6 is nice! Focus on Barks when you have some funds to do it (I mean, I love Rosa of course, even met him once and he's the sweetest guy ever, but... Yeah Barks is Barks. Rosa himself would say that).
Yup grateful too. This collection is the best recognition of Bark's importance after Walt Simonson and other people tried to put Barks name on light backs in the 70's.
+ It's not a super luxuous edition too beautiful for even thinking to put your fingers on it (not a fan a comic books in luxous format), it's just the best compromise.

I can understand. But if one day you feel like it, you should give it another try. Those are great comics. Real packed action/adventures stories with a great sense of narration that had, i'm sure, a lot of influence too on some futur creators.

And all of that is why Skywarp is the best Seekers.
    Evidently.

This one. I'm a fan of the older Seeker mold over the update, and the Walmart Starscream was pretty awesome.

TT MP-6. I prefer the MP-3 mould (despite its faults) to the MP-11 mould, and its particularly sharp in glossy black. It's the only MP seeker I cared to buy, and I bought it twice. I was tempted by Thrust though, he just needed a more coherent colour scheme for me to bite (ie. TT needed to use black or grey, not both).
