? In what? TF? TF is basically a metal sausage fest. But for me it would have to be BW Megatron. Just a calculating, smooth, badass.

Soundwave, self explained. and shockwave, I remember the first time I saw him when g1 happened to come on tv one day and then I saw this cool looking one eye purple robot who turned into a giant gun. thought it was the most badass thing i've seen on tv when I was young. ever since then the waves have been my favs

Dirge is my role model and inspiration.

Also, Injector is the very model of masculinity.

Iron hide, I guess. I liked hot shot too, at least more than bumblebee and hot rod. I like Combiners the most, but none of them are ever role models.

I guess BW Megatron or TFA Optimus, since they're like my favourite TF characters ever.

I don't think there'd be a female character if you asked me what my top 30 characters are, except for Sari.

I've always really liked Chip Chase a lot. As a role model, I do think he could serve as a positive role model to those are similarly physically handicapped. I've always just thought he was cool in general.

I've also always enjoyed Spike (both younger and older) and Sparkplug. I never felt any of these characters as my own role models, nor have I thought of any Transformers in such a manner either (though the Transformers themselves are off topic of this thread since they are not technically "male").

I think Ron Witwicky is pretty cool as well as Agent Simmons. General Morshower is also pretty cool. That about wraps it up for male movie characters for me.

I was always intrigued by Sparkplug's reaction to the Transformers in the cartoon series. They could have made him some worrying, nagging parent but instead he's a working class guy who sees that helping out giant robots is way more exciting than his current job, lol.

Yep, and having Spike and Sparkplug from the blue collar working class always made TRANSFORMERS relatable to me.

And SG Ratbat, simply cause he's BATBOT!

As a role model? Probably G1 Optimus Prime. Hell when you're a kid you never cared about whether a character was overpowered or a mary sue. I just looked up to OP like I also looked up to Batman. I thought they both were cool and wanted to be like them when I grew up.

As a favourite male character in general I'll have to go with... Prowl or Soundwave... or Wheeljack... or Shockwave... or Nightbeat... or Ironhide... hm...
