Favorite: Cybertron Optimus Prime, followed shortly by 20th Prime (yes, 20th is second place). He just looks really cool. He looks like a good update of G1, has the ability to choose face plate or mouth guard, and has a large arsenal. He's poseable, a quick but fun supermode, and his combination with Wing Saber doesn't detract from the toy, nor does his Super mode.

Least: Hmm... Probably Energon Optimus Prime. I don't have the Go-bot version, although I like all of the Spychangers. And I actually like the Action Master Prime that came with my New Years Convoy. So definitely Energon. He looks over-weight, has an unconvincing vehicle mode, and the hat just looks silly.

 

My favorite Prime is the New Year's reissue of the G1. Great additions with the matrix, blue windows and action master. Plus, I use his blue fist from TFC Starscream so he can wield gun mode Megatron and save the galaxy from threats to both Autobot and Decepticon.

My least favorite prime would be Energon Prime, but the TRU Supercon version. Still got the titties and stupid hat, but now smaller than anybody else in his size class, with horrid "Kibble Link" feature. I slapped him aside after ten minutes, and played with the Ultra scale Megatron he came with.

 

I'll assume that we're only talking Trukk and not Munkee so this leaves Primal out of the equation... For the fun of it, let me rank all I own:

My two favorite Optimus Primes have to be the Masterpiece Prime and the Laser Optimus from Generation 2. Bendy Armada Prime comes in third, but he's still awfully cool.

...as for worst...I'd go with Energon fah-tih-mus. (Yeah, thanks word filter.   )

Least Fav: Armada Prime (supermode version). Remote transformation my ass!

 

Bestest: Armada "Bendy" Prime
Leastest: Energon Prime (though Wing Saber lifts the score a little)

 

Best: Laser Prime, Cybertron Prime, 20th Anniversary
Worst: BM Primal (all), Bw Primal (optimal optimus was only slightly better), and Energon deluxe prime, his powerlinx mode is just wierd, he has next to no arms!

 

Since others are listing Primals as least favorites, I take it he is in play. My favorite Optimus toy is Optimal Optimus. My least favotite is Spychanger RID Prime (the little firetruck).

 

Favorite: G2 Laser Prime. He simply was one of the best figures of his time and he came with a sword! I've always liked TFs with swords for some reason... seems like you'd have to be a real badass to still be functional on a world filled with robots with guns and you're running around with a blade. He has a decent transformation (if a little simple) and he was well articulated with a cool trailer.

Worst: Energon Prime. He looks overweight in his normal mode and looks like a megazord in his supermode. Combining him with Wing Saber or Omega Supreme don't help matters. Wing Prime looks alright, but is incredibly top heavy with the way he combines. Omega Prime is just stupid... let's have Omega's body with Prime's head sticking out... worst combined mode ever!

I have only got a few Primes/Convoys but to me;

The best; RiD Prime. I also love Big Convoy but I am not sure if he can be included.

The worst; Super Link deluxe Prime. One of my least favourite TFs. Armada/ML Super Prime wasn't very good, either, but at least he had more play value for us. For the same reason I don't mind big chubby Energon/SL Prime. Kids can play garage with the trailer and drones  

 

Fave : PM Prime

Worst: BM Blast Punch Optimus

 

Okay besides 20th and MP-01:

Favorite: New Year Optimus Prime with his Matrix, blue tint windows and eyes with his included Actionmaster & mousepad.

Least favorite: Would be that exclusive and yellow 'Armada' SuperPants Optimus Prime sold with the egually yellow Overload.

Worst, though I find them amusing, any ape type beast bearing the name Optimus or
Prime.

 

favorite would have to be a tie between Cyb OP and RiD OP without all the extra bits - i think RiD OP looks infinitely better without the truck parts attached to make a super mode

my least favorite would be a tie between Armada SuperPants OP and Energon OP without his attachments - IMO as long as Energon OP has his 4 extra bits attached, he looks OK

 

best: g1 because it's so iconic, but rid is the best toy

worst: g2 gobot, with a close second being machine wars prime

 

Best: Lioconvoy! For some reason I like the lion optimus. If he doesn't count, then the G1 Prime, first transformer I ever got and will always be the most memorable. I cried when he died in the movie.

Worst: Tie between fat-tits and superpants prime.

 

Best Trukk: Cybertron Prime - fun for all the reasons already discussed.
Best Munky: RiD Air Attack Optimus Primal - a Masterpiece figure, just without the label.

Worst Trukk: Energon Deluxe Prime - ugly and unfun on all counts.
Worst Munky: Universe Optimus Primal - he looks like a friggin zombie!

 

Galaxy convoy/Cybertron Prime has to be one of the best primes released in a main line, has so many features, and the trailer turning into the backpack is awesome.

of course 20th prime is the best one out there, its the orginal baby, made good.

i have to say, energon prime does look sucky, but i've never seen one in person. the wing saber combination looks cool though. i dont really like the look of star convoy either, but its quite a fun toy from what i've read.
