So now that the series is over let's see what's you favorite episode from each season and why!

My favorite episode from season 1 has to be Thrill of the Hunt

I was one of those guys that said a big BLAH to the ANiamted when I saw the picture but my friends said to me this "Watch Thrill of the Hunt, if you don't like that episode don't bother wit hte rest". And After seeing it I fell in love with this series. Also it introduces Lockdown easily on of the cooles TF in HISTORY.

Favorite episode from season 2 is probably Mission Accomplished Season 2 had a lot of good episodes but one is my fave. The best part for me wat Starscream getting trown off the clif over and over and over again....
I couldn't stop laughing  

And finaly season 3. Season 3 was mad out of pure EPIC WIN! Every episode was awesome for me and I can't pick just one.....but if I ha to it would be Five Servos of Doom

It's a Prowl oriented episode and Prwol rocks. And it has Lockdown whic makes it even more awesome. And fianly Prowl gets to keep the samurai armour. Plus the story of the episode was just great!

So yeah those are mine favorites....

As for least faovrites from season 1 it's Nature Calls I dunno I found that episode to be quite boring.

From season 2 it's S.U.V. - Society of Ultimate Villainy. HUman villains = fail. Only good part was Swindle. Swindle rock.

And as for season 3....I can't find a bad episode! I even enjoyed Three's a crowd!

1. Lost and Found- Blitzwing and Lugnut stole this episode
2. Thrill of the Hunt- First time a character became three-dimensional with facing with his past
3. Megatron Rising (Part 1)- Action-packed set-up to an okay finale
Honorable mentions are Transform and Roll Out (Part 1) and Megatron Rising (Part 2)

My least favorite season 1 episodes
Honorable mentions are Nature Calls and Transform and Roll Out (Part 2)
3. Headmaster- Annoying villain as well as more Bulkhead's clumsy antics
2. Total Meltdown- What an episode of bad writing as well as Bumblebee
1. Nanosec- Didn't like both the focused main character and antagonist as well as Megatron's lose-lose situation

My faveoit episodes of season 2 are
1. Bridge Too Close (Part 2)- The three-way fight was amazing as well as "I AM OMEGA SUPREME!" (All-time favorite episode of the series)
2. Mission Accomplished- Great episode with everyone from Fanzone to Megatron involved as well as Stascream Death Montage
3. The Elite Guard- Great way to to start season 2 as well as introducing three of the most memorable characters in Animated
Honorable mentions are Fistful of Energon and Black Friday

Least favorite episodes in season two:
No honorable mentions here
3. Velocity- Only Blitzwing and great animation were the only positives in such a drab episode.
2. Sari, No One's Home- The only good thing from this mediocre episode was good ol' Blitzwing
1. S.U.V.- Another episode focusing on Bumblebee as well as most of the super villains. The saving grace of this episode was when Swindle showed up and kicked butt.

My faovrite episodes of season 3 are
1. Transwarpped (Part 3)- Epic and emotional at the same time.
2. Five Servo's of Doom- Finally getting Prowl's backstory as well as the battle in Tigertron Stadium at the end
3. Decepticon Air- The Autobot vs. Decepticons,including Swindle, aboard the Elite Guard ship with so much action film refernces as well as ton of good fights makes this episode great.
Honorable mentions are This is Why I Hate Machines and Human Error (Part 2)

Least favorite episodes
Honorable mentions are Human Error (Part 1) and Where is Thy Sting?
3. Three's A Crowd- "You got a problem." Yes, I do, Dirt Boss. And that problem was your annoying presence in this episode.
2. Endgame (Part 2)- Too stuffed and mediocre for a season if not series finale.
1. Endgame (Part 1)- All that happens is Slipstream shows up just to mistake Optimus for Starscream and shoots him down while he's trying to learn to fly. Meanwhile, Megs decides to attack Detroit, not Cybertron, with the titanic Lugnut Supremes. Oh yeah, he also trashes Starscream. That's all that happened in one of the most boring Animated episodes.

First of all, I hated the human villain episodes of animated but that aside here were my favorites:

I enjoyed pretty much all of season 3, but if I were to pick my top three episodes...
1: Five Servos of Doom
2: This is Why I hate Machines
3: Human Error

 

Least favorites of all three seasons:

Season 1: Home Is Where The Spark Is - After such a terrific opening with "Transform and Roll Out" I nearly gave up on the whole series after watching this episode. I figured it was going to be just another annoying cartoon show. Sari was a little smart alack, her use of the key was annoying, Prowl and Bumblebee acted like jerks, the sleepover situation was totally emasculating and the Autobots were defeated way too easily by Megatron. There was no where to go but up after this episode.

Season 2: Velocity - Way too much mindless chasing in this episode. There wasn't enough plot to justify the supposed action, and the whole remote-control-Blurr device never made a lick of sense. If it only worked when it was pointed at a Transformer, then why didn't Blurr escape or at least transform when the thing was stashed in its hidey-hole?

Season 3: Three's A Crowd - This is probably the worst episode of the series. Dirtboss is a throwaway character, a completely mindless villain, and the plot is so forgettable, I forgot what it was about. I just know I have no desire to watch it again to remind myself.

 

Favorites

Season 1 - Thrill of the Hunt. The entire Ratchet back story was probably the best running plot throughout the entire series. It's only natural that the first episode to establish it would be the best of the season.

Season 2 - Black Friday. Prometheus Black is one smooth operator. Anyone who says "I hated the human villains" without the addendum of "except Meltdown" is either a liar or an idiot. I really wish he had gotten a comeback in season 3. It would have made for better viewing than almost the first half of the season!

Season 3 - Tie between Decepticon Air and This Is Why I Hate Machines. DA re-established just what a badass Lugnut is after spending most of the second season as a joke. Just because he's the big brute and the mindlessly loyal one doesn't make him stupid. Also, it was nice to see Swindle interacting with his fellow Decepticons. I've always felt that he was less of a neutral than Lockdown is. And TIWIHM has the benefit of more Ratchet badassery. First he kicked Lockdown's ass, and now Shockwave's? Man, have the series revolve around RATCHET. He's done more as a manly badass than Optimus Pax. (the finale notwithstanding). Also, one last hurrah with Captain Fanzone, ya gotta love it.

Horrible episodes

Season 1 - Toss up between The Headmaster and Nanosec. Piss poor plots with piss poor antagonists. Contributed absolutely nothing to the overall story other than time wasting filler. At least other "filler" eps, like Total Meltdown or Sound and Fury had the benefit of introducing characters or concepts that would be useful later.

Season 2 - Sari, No One's Home. This was the best idea they could come up with the return of the Constructicons? I would have prefered if Blitzwing had just shown up out of nowhere at the end of "Rise of the COnstructicons" and brought them back to the mines. Maybe then they could've used the last ep before that seasn's finale for something more awesome. A Soundwave ep, maybe? More "who is that blue racer?" build up for Blurr?

Season 3 - Where Is They Sting? Wasp's plan was ill concieved and poorly executed, and the Jets were so fucking obnoxious in their debut. Yes, guys, standing in proximity to "Wasp" clearly makes Prowl and Bulkhead traitors. Get the fuck out of here. I expected so much out of Wasp after seeing how crazy he had become in "Autoboot Camp" and this was a severe letdown.

 

- Best episodes of the series - The ones that focused heavily on the main, ongoing plot(s). This includes the opening movie, "Megatron Rising", "A Bridge Too Close", "Transwarped" and "Endgame". The done-in-one episodes were neat (mostly), but the show hit it's stride with the main plot episodes.

- Worst episodes of the series - For me, these generally to be episodes that focused on characters that I just didn't like. Mostly the episodes with the Constructicons, especially "Three's a Crowd", and episodes with Lockdown. I'd also throw "Human Error" in there, not because it was a terrible episode, but because there wasn't enough good material there to justify a two-parter.

 

To be fair on the twin's part... they were trained by Sentinel Prime.

Overall, the only episode i did like was Home is Where the Spark is. Just didn't grow on me. can't think of any others.

 

Okay, I'll bite.

Favorite:

Season 1: Megatron Rising. This was the exclaimation point to the entire first season of the show, everything had either directly or indirectly building up to it, climaxing with Megatron getting his body and becoming a major threat that the appearance of a Megatron on the battlefield should cause.

Season 2: Mission Accomplished. Besides the political undercurrent, it was a solid episode showing the flaws in the Autobot chain of command and re-establishing Megatron as not just a Decepticon leader, but THE Decepticon Leader. His speech about becoming unified cut to his eliminating Starscream over and over again was great. The ending with Optimus being vindicated and Megatrons plans moving forward really moved the series along with giving a sense of satisfaction and excitement.

Season 3. Endgame Part I. This was the crux of the series. We finally get how the Autobot crew came together, we see the expression of Megatrons master plan, and Optimus getting to that last step before he has to emerge the real hero.

Least Favorite:

Season 1. Home is Where the Spark is. Mostly because there was less then a sentences worth of plot. Megatron becomes aware. While that's a crucial point, there needed to have been more.

Season 2. Garbage In, Garbage Out. It had Weird Al and Wrek Gar. Good for them. It didn't really go anywhere or do anything for me.

Seaason 3. Three's a Crowd. Out of all the episodes, I think this may be the weakest. Dirt Boss was a terrible character, and I'm not that big a fan of the constructicons to begin with. They didn't really do anything storywise that was enjoyable, and finally they reused the same plasma dynamic thruster plot Mcguffin/plot device to end the episode as they did the prior episode.

 

My top favourite is TransWarped (epic Rodimus win!)

Season 3=Endgame Pt 1 and 2 - A very, very epic battle!

No least favourites... Too much to count really....

 

Favourites:

Season 1: Thrill of the Hunt. I loved it as soon as I saw Prowl give Lockdown the MOTHERFUCKING BEATING OF A LIFETIME!

Season 2: A Bridge Too Close. Introduced the clones, who are all awesome except for Slipstream, had an epic battle and was the beginning of Sari becoming a likable character.

Season 3: Hmmmm. Five Servos of Doom is awesome...but I'm gonna have to say Transwarped. It had Blurr do something, a brutal death, good writing and some great battles.

Least favourite:

Season 1: Hmmm...Toss-up between Home Is Where The Spark Is and Nature Calls.

Season 2: S.U.V. A pretty good episode, especially with Swindle but...

Professor Princess. Seriously, she ruined the entire episode.

Season 3: Three's a Crowd. Endgame at least had epic battle and some emotional value to make up for the ten or so loose ends. Three's A Crowd wasn't BAD but it was kind of boring.

To be hoest, I love them all in some way. However, my least favourite season 1 episode was "Home is were the SPark is." But my favourite of season 1 was "Megatron Rising, part 2".

In season 2, my least favourite was "S.U.V- Soceity of ultimate villainy." But hey, you gotta love Swindle. My faveourite was "A bridge to close- Part 2"

In season 3, I loved all of them.
