Listen IronBot you started the same thread in May 2016... so I'm merging them, always SEARCH for previous threads, as long as they're not over a year old... especially if you're starting with the same topic, use the older thread. There is no need to start the same titled thread over and over.

    Favorite Combiner?

    merging..

I always had a nostalgia love for G1 Predaking. I had that toy as a kid and thought it was the most badass thing ever with his united color scheme, spiked knuckles, the fact that he was much bigger than the other combiners plus he had a lion head on his chest.

Defensor: Among the Autobot Combiners he lives up to the ideals the most. (Aerialbots are hotheads & Technobots are disfunctional. Yes they are!)

Among the team you have: Captain Action Hero, The Street Fighter, The Compasionate Doc, The Determined Detective, and The Laid Back Operator.

I had trouble finding a CW Rook, so I added Hound to my squad and you know what? It works! Hound is now a search & rescue specialist and environmentalist/xenobiolgist (Earth isn't his native planet so that would make him a xenobiologist) so that also makes him the team science officer. Plus his tracking ability (almost never mentioned) and his hologram projector.

The Big Bad Battlin' Bruticus! This list is missing Raiden, Piranacon/King Poseidon, Road Caesar, Landcross, Dinoking, and Monstructor.

Bruticus is certainly my favorite combiner as far as appearance and what not, but as a toy, Predaking definitely takes it. Such a great and impressive toy.

Since Slamdance wasn't included in the list I'll have to take Computron.

It actually is Computron, I love the look of the toys, and I really like the science warrior thing. Even if it rarely gets any play. Predaking is a close second.

Slamdance! Now that's one I'd love a Masterpiece version of! (Just kidding)

No, I got him for the box art and even though he was pretty much a brick I still liked him. Would love to see a modern version with articulation, give up the cassette modes and just give me a duo con, as long as they keep the shoulder cannons and arm missiles.

Only cannon appearance they never even transformed. Just a pair of data tapes that fell to Earth in the 16th century. Sheesh!

That's not the only Cannon appearance

Both dreamwave and IDW have featured this character

    1- Abominus (Don Figueroa art)
    2- IDW Menasor (Don Figueroa?)
3- Predaking (Comic version, IDW? ) or Superion (Studio Ox)

My favorite G1 Combiner is Computron, but he's definitely not my favorite Combiner in general.

Computron, as he is markedly different being an intelligent combiner. If there was going to be a second place, it'd be Raiden.

Predaking!!! Awesome name. Better individual figures than other normal g1 combiners
