What is your favorite franchise of movies that started in 2000 to present day. To qualify the first movie must have been released in 2000. Even if it started December of 1999 it does not qualify. Also reboots are fair game such as the Dark Knight Trilogy. But Spiderman/Amazing Spiderman will count as one franchise being both released in the 2000s.

    Transformers
    MCU/TDK trilogy
    X-Men/Fast and the Furious

    Pros to the TDK trilogy:
    Batman Begins- Great
    The Dark Knight- Great

    Cons:
The Dark Knight Rises- I like the movie but it is the weak part to the franchise.

    Pros to the MCU
    Ironman- Great
    Incredible Hulk-Solid
    Thor- Good
    Captain America 1- Great
    Avengers - Great
    Thor 2- good
    Captain America 2-Great

    Cons:
Ironman 2- I like it but it is pretty weak compared to the Pros of the MCU
Ironman 3- Still waiting for my $10 refund

The biggest complaint of Ironman 2 is there is a huge lack of action in an action movie...

    Other: Pirates of the Caribbean.

Simple because it's the only franchise besides Transformers and nolan batman that I've seen every film of the franchise at the movies first. Out of those three, pirates has a better fun factor.

Obviously Transformers will get a load of votes. Also, lel at 'The Expandables'. Voted for MCU, fun and just puts a smile on my face after watching the movies (yes, even Iron Man 2).

I voted for Transformers. Even though 80's is what first comes to mind with Transformers.

Probably could have gone with the Middle Earth stuff?

Voted The Dark Knight Trilogy (specifically for TDK).

Daniel Craig James Bond is the next runner up...

Fast and Furious is definitely my favorite. It's the only franchise on the list where all the movies in the franchise entertain me in some way. Plus, each film is sort of like a different genre.

I like a bunch but I gotta go with the one where I can keep watching it without getting tired of it. And the winner is Harry Potter.

I was gonna go Marvel, but I watch each movie once or twice and I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Don't really watch the previous movies again. Batman and LOTR? I've never finished those movies after the first viewing.

Of those, the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As a write-in, I'd choose the Rebuild of Evangelion movies.

If Lord of the Rings wouldn't have gone lets make more money by making The Hobbit then I would have picked Lord of the Rings. Attempting to turn The Hobbit into something as big and as grand as Lord of the Rings just doesn't work for me.

So I went Marvel. They manage to mix story, character, and cool villains into the movies and that's three elements that are likely to make me happy with a film. The humor always feels just right like Loki vs Hulk. Even the minority and female characters feel like more than just the token character so Falcon felt like a real character instead of lets just throw in a black character to broaden the appeal.

Marvel doesn't hit that golden age of Pixar perfection but I usually feel like buying a movie ticket for a Marvel film is a safe bet even if they are the people that gave us Iron Man 2.

Lord of the Rings. It is the only trilogy that did not suck in the third movie.

X3, The Dark Knight Rises, Spider-Man 3, and Iron Man 2 and 3 all range from utter pile of **** to disappointing at best.

Also, Harry Potter had some really terrible moves in the mix (specifically the fourth and eighth movies), QoS was disappointing compared to CR (but still better than some of the other Bond movies), Fast and the Furious is a mixed bag, and the first Expendable was crap while the second was slightly better. Oh yeah, and The Bourne Legacy is a down right dreadful generic movie.

A 2-way tie between Daniel Craig's 007 and Shrek (only the first 2 Shrek movies, 3rd was kinda boring)
