What are some of your favorite figures of 2016? Perhaps something from the end of the Combiner Wars or perhaps a Returned Titan? :p

My #1 favorite (As of right now) has to be Blaster. I just love how big and chunky he is, and how gosh darn fun he is to transform. Right now the only ones who might beat him out are Soundwave (who I'm getting tomorrow) or Black Shadow making it to me before year's end.

RID Windblade plus about an hour of painting. TR Blurr is a close second.

Titans Return Astrotrain currently holds first place as my favorite of the year but...

    Combiner Wars Groove

    Titans Return Hardhead
    Robots in Disguise Thunderhoof
    Robots in Disguise Starscream
    Robots in Disguise Windblade

    Are all runner ups.

I don't collect Titans Return, but those pics of Fort Max by Sixo make me want to jump right in and buy that massive figure.
Mp Ironhide has to be my favorite fig of 2016 so far. The paint job, head sculpt, the wonderful transformation, and butt-load of accessories just did it for me.

    FT Stomp
    FT Willis
    FT Forager
    MT Ironwill
    MMC Carnifex
    KFC Crash Hog

So far those are some of my favorites in no particular order. I'm looking forward to Simba and Kultur as well. Funny enough there isn't an official product on that list so far. I'm hopeful for Inferno to be added to that list though as it looks awesome.

    Hands down, Legends Blurr.

Once I get my UW Computron I'd imagine he'll make runner up.

Legends Fortress Maximus and Fortress. As much as I would have preferred Cerebros, I have to admit Fortress is a great looking Deluxe, and I'm amazed at how many dialogue clips he has, compared to Cerebros/Hasbro Fort Max. It's not even close.

Legends Broadcast. This is the Blaster figure I always wanted. Absolutely perfect, and the darker grey + silver paint makes him look like a million bucks. Amazing.

After that, the surprise favorite might be Batora... the tiny bird and dinosaur modes are surprisingly satisfying to me.

Two figures which really stuck out to me after handling them are Legends Rewind and TR Wolfwire. I could not believe the amount of individual parts that were molded for Wolfwire. It's been a LONG time since we've seen a deluxe made with layered parts like that. Rewind is fun, one of the most fun TR figures I've handled so far. A joy to pose and transform, just remember to take the stylus out! Completely blows away the Stripes/Laserbeak molds.

I also picked up RID Power Surge warrior Prime at TRU, that figure surprised me too. I thought I would like Starscream more but I found myself transforming and posing Prime a lot more. The clear plastic and ability to use the wings as swords make for a fun toy. I also like the transformation a lot.

As for MP's, I was shocked by how solid Shockwave was. Meanwhile Ironhide shocked me too. Both great figures and have me excited for what's to come in the MP line.

When I started to revise my collection, I was easily picturing myself adding "UW-08" Computron when somebody asked this kind of question. But my plans to recreate Takara's 1987 line-up hit a snag... So... All I can say is that the following three have become my favorites so far:

    - "LG22" Skull (with Batora)
    - "LG23" Galvatron (Headmaster: Megatron)
    - "LG31" Fortress Maximus (Headmasters: Fort and Fortress)

Also, even though I do own him, "LG25" Blurr does not appear to a figure that I will discuss that much after I complete my collection and move onto something new. He looks great, but that is about it for me.

Yup, so far for me it has to be TR WG Brainstorm.

With Takara Fort Max as a very close second.

MP-wise I'll wait for Primal and Inferno to be released. I love Ironhide/Ractchet, Laserwave and Delta Magnus, very very good year. But I'll wait.
All in all, MP and TR, we have a tremondous 2016.

For 3P it's FT Stomp. I'll get my Carnifex soon but he already have a serious contender in Stomp.
Oh and the Vitalis kit for Optimus is a must.

    MP-29 Laserwave
    MP-28 Hot Rodimus
    MP-30 Ratchet

With a good chance that both MP Inferno and MP Optimus Primal will beat these three as my favorites for this year...

There's a lot of good candidates thus far. Galvatron would be a top tier toy if not for the head/mask thing dragging him down. Powermaster Prime is pretty all-around awesome.

I'll throw out my personal winners: CW Swindle and TR Rewind. Both fun little buggers that I can't put down.

    UW Computron
    Legends Galvatron with Megatron
    TR Blurr
    TR Hardhead
    RID Decepticon Island Showdown

Obviously not everything I bought, but in order of how pleased I was with them and my top five. The Decepticon Island is a bit of a weird one, I had Rewards bucks which knocked the price down; I didn't have either figure mold, the capsule is cool, and many of the weapons got disseminated to other figures including two repurposed figures; the first Prime Ultra Magnus as Zeta Prime got the staff, Battlecore Optimus as Nova Prime got the clear axe, so it was 2 new figures, a stasis pod, and more for barely what two figures cost.
