I'm talking about characters who weren't toys initially.... Alpha trion? Impactor? Drift? Tarn? Rung? Unicron?

Quite a few prominent ones over the years...... I love the DJD and turmoil.

I know I'm probably a bit biased because he's so new and refreshing, but right now, my favorite fiction originated character - by far- is Rung.

Rung doesn't really do anything for me.... Probably just due to the pure awesome that is the lost light crew overshadowing him. Whirl and cyclonus are rocking my world at the mo.

Of all time? Have to be Scrounge. Loved that guy and his arm like no other since 1985.

-ZacWilliam, Rung would probably be a close second though...

I echo the thoughts of ZW here. Even though I've never read any issues they've been in, the TFWiki summaries have been enough for me to really dig the Scroungster. Oh, and Rung.

Emirate Xaaron & Impactor from the Marvel and Rung & Tarn from IDW.

Honorable mentions go to Straxus because I like his design and toy, and Heretech because of how insanely badass that name is.

Rung and Impactor. Impactor I think is a great name for a hi-and-die Autobot Badass.

I'm going with Rung. Rung is just a great character, his unassuming nature is fun, but watching him in those moments when he asserts himself makes him shine. He's no pushover.

I'd have to go Rung. I like Impactor, Straxus, Tarn, Drift, but they are all just badasses. I like that Rung is so interesting, but appears to be worthless in a fight (so far).

    Signal lancer!

...but he's not from the comics.

    I love Tarn's design, but I think I like Rung's personality. Also pre-shadowplay
    Shockwave
, if you count that as a separate character.

    If we're just talking robots...

    1. Unicron
    2. Jhaxius
    3. Scrounge
    4. Straxus
    5. Emirate Xaaron
    6. Mindset (Missile Launcher from G2 issue 9)

    If we include humans...

    1. Circuit Breaker
    2. G.B. Blackrock
    3. Buster
    4. Charlene
    5. Jesse
    6. Sparkplug
    7. Thunderpunch

I'll probably have some more once I finish the UK Marvel comics.
