Alright, a throw out to you guys. PLEASE only pick ONE each. Believe me, I know it's hard. But say there was only 1 artist left in the world, and 1 writer for a comic, who would you want them to be?

    Artist: Mark Texeira

    Writer: Brian Michael Bendis

    What's yours???

For writer, I would go with J Michael Strazensky (is this spelled wrong?)
For artist I would go with Ramos Jr.

    Writer: Geoff Johns
Artist: that's just too hard to pick, and rather than break the rules and list my top 2 or 3, i'll just leave it at that :p

    Damn, only 1?

Writer: Brian Michael Bendis (Daredevil, New Avengers)

Although I resent some of the stuff he ignored from Kevin Smith's awesome run in Daredevil, Bendis is the one comic book writer I'd like left in the world because he consistently turns out something enjoyable or just fun.

    Artist: Brian Hitch

From reading The Ultimates, you should know that we're quite possibly dealing with a meta-human here. Incredible attention to detail and form, I'd pretty much love to see this guy illustrate ANY comic. So, if there was only one artist left in the world, I'd want it to be him.

I'm waiting for an inevitable Bendis/Hitch pairing...unless there's already been one that I've simply missed.

Chris Claremont & Marc Silvestri. For me, they represent the finest period in X-Men history.

    Writer: Neil Gaiman, no contest.

Artist: Oi, this one changes almost weekly. :lol  I guess I'll have to go with the highly talented and never derivative Rob Liefeld!

    Just kidding. :p

Seriously, I can't really say that I have one artists whose work I love above all others. If anything, I'd have to go with Chris Bachalo's early work on Generation X. Before he got into his incredibly bad manga phase. :puke2:

This is my favorite team also, I loved their punisher run (hasnt been nearly as funny without dillon's awesome facial expressions).

    Individually I would have to go with;
    Grant Morrison
    Brian Hitch

Dillon is one of the reasons I am picking up the Nighthawk series. His art is just perfectly expressed.

Couldent pick a writer, but Neal Adams would narrowly win for the artists (aside from his current insistance on f'king up the inking and colouring on his older stuff for reprints)

Writer was Grant Morrison, but recently I've been picking up paperbacks of Amazing Spiderman and I have to say those are probably the most consistantly entertaining comics I've ever read, and anything else I've read by JMS has been really good too, so I might have to go with JMS.

Artist is tougher, I really like the detail of Larroca and David Finch, but I also like the cartoonier look of Romita Jr. and Clayton Henry. I'd probably say as it stands now Finch is my favorite.

Writer is a toughie. I guess I'd pick Garth Ennis since he very rarely dissapoints me.

Artist is simple. Arthur Adams is the comic god who has yet to get his propper due, but one day I hope he will.

Ok, well there are a lot of good writers out there, but as for good, heart warming writing, I mean if there's only ONE writer left, I'd have to go with Jim Gownley. I like his stuff, a LOT.

As for artist, I'm tempted to go with Gownley as well because he draws his own comics and his art and story telling go hand in hand, but I think I'm going to have to go with Michael Turner on this one.

I dont really have a fav writer, I just go with whatever story catches my interest.
An that varies quite considerably. As far as artists, Zalozabal(Genetic Grunge) series, and hands down, Don Figueroa for his Transformers art.
