Hey, why isn't Miko in the poll? I can't think of anyone who wouldn't list her as one of their favourite characters.

 

Well, looking at the character list and seeing only bots and cons, I'm thinking you could include the humans in the OTHER category. Also could have left the humans out of this polls mainly because we've had numerous threads and discussions on the humans.

 

Knock Out is the greatest character in the history of Transformers, maybe even the history of fiction.

 

Maybe yours, but until Hasbro states that as fact, nope, sorry

Knockout's witty banter with the homoerotic subtext is the most memorable and entertaining part of the show for me. It's a kind of sass I've never really seen in a Transformers animated series and I really appreciate it.

Though the character building in this series is brilliant all-around (except for Raph). I'm loving the approach to Starscream, even though it's the classic devious Scream, it still feels unique and somehow more of a legitimate threat than any previous incarnation. Megatron and Soundwave are great, too. As per usual, I find the Autobots to be a bit more forgettable, though the direction they're taking Prime has me really excited. Oh, Arcee's fly as hell, too. But yeah I relate to Knockout the most so he definitely takes first for me.

 

When initially watching the show, I really didn't like it. But I've decided to force myself to watch the entire thing, and it started to get interesting in the Crossover episode.

When I picked my favorite character, I first picked Prime. But now, after thinking about it, I actually like Ratchet and Raf the most in the show.

 

You mean crisscross?

 

I absolutely love Ratchet in this show. His voice... his attitude... his overall character is pure gold. And I did NOT expect that.

And as much as I have always loathed the Arcee character to the point of pretending she doesn't even exist in the G1 cannon, I think she is fantastic in this series. I love her 'take no shit' attitude and think her voice actress is amazing. It just fits perfectly.

And now I understand the hype around this Starscream. It took me a few eps to warm up to his new voice & persona, but wow, the guy behind this character is off the chart with his voice acting. The way he can so seamlessly transition from being outright menacing to a cowardly weasel to almost comedic madness is fantastic.

Everyone else is good too in their own ways. The only voice & character I'm pretty 'meh' to is Breakdown.

For the bots, Arcee, for passing from G1 Princess Leia to actual Lara Croft.

For the humans, Jack, for the efforts of the writters in putting a reasonable teenager, reluctant hero type, with a deep understanding of the perils of the cyberwar for him and the others, but at the same time capable of showing guts and smarts when necessary. Although I have still a deep liking for Fowler.

 

Describing TFP Arcee as a Lara Craft type character is so perfect on many levels!  Jack is certainly the best human character to come out of Transformers since Sari Sumdac! Agent Fowler is also charming in his own way, he's voiced by one of the original Ghostbusters! How can you beat that?!?!

 

Megatron. This Megatron kinda reminds of the Beast Era Megs. He's evil

 

That's the reason why I like this Megatron too!

 

BW Megs shifted from ultra-treacherous snob to fanatical control freak. Prime Megatron has neither of those characteristics.

Though I voted for Knockout, I wanted to vote for Starscream, Arcee, and Ratchet as well. Ratchet's characterization in Parts 2 and 3 of One Shall Rise makes me feel like his mind and spark were put into the wrong body.

 

Megatron and Optimus....hands down

 

Yeah she's really grown on me too!  I'm also looking foward to seeing how the other characters fare in Season 2!

Honestly, I'm just really starting to watch the show in order, but from the 5 or so episodes I've seen, either Soundwave or Starscream.

 

hard to pick, most of them are pretty good! i ended up voting Arcee, she is truly kickass and i love her character!! but i was highly considering Megatron also. they did a GREAT job on this version of him.

and of course, i'm a huge fan of TFP Starscream and Optimus too. Knockout is definetly growing on me the more i watch it too...
