I like the Beetle, because a smaller vehicle really fits his personality and the fact that he's less of a combatant and more for infiltration and human friendly.

The Beetle. It really fit his personality, at least in this movie. But I do like the Camaro.

I like to think of his switching to the Camaro mode, besides the obvious that S7 will be looking for a yellow Volkswagen Beetle, as also being an indicator of his change in character. Throughout the movie he's an amnesiac, lost and confused of the world around him. At the end, he's regained his memories and his purpose as an Autobot soldier. The Beetle is the lost, confused Bumblebee, while the Camaro is the determined soldier.

1977 Camaro. That was the toy I wanted as a kid, and to me, it does a better job combining Bumblebee's traditional "underdog" status with the more capable warrior he is in the films.
