Exactly what it says on the tin. Love him or hate him, the little yellow Autobot has had a lot of designs, especially after his return to popularity with the live-action movies. Which version of Bumblebee would you say looked the best?

Personally, I'm most fond of the original Movie-verse design. Yeah, the G1 design is classic and the Prime version has the big, soulful eyes, but the Movie's design has just become so recognizably Bumblebee. I love how it incorporates the yellow paintjob, big blue eyes, and little "horns" from the G1 design, but I also how he looks more like a soldier who'd survive a war that's been raging for centuries, with a leaner build and a gas mask-like faceplate. Plus, the door-wings and black stripes seem to evoke an actual bumblebee more.

What about you guys? Which design (if any) do you prefer?

WFC/FOC Bumblebee is my favorite of all the Bees.

I think thats why I'm partial to the Thrilling 30 Legends (even though I like the TR Legends more in everything but design). Its the WFC design but attempting to give it an earth mode so its a design the character would carry over from Cybertron to Earth even if his alt mode changes. In a perfect world my preferred Bumblebee for me would be the Legends Bee design given an Earth mode like a Mitsubishi Evolution and in deluxe scale.

And yeah the G1 design is always great and iconic I mean have you seen this awesome fan art? Bee looks so anime its awesome

I kind of split up Bumblebee designs into two categories:
G1-ish designs- small car alt mode, a bit chubby looking, and horned head (G1, WFC, Animated)
Movie-ish designs- sleek car alt mode and a taller alt mode (Movie, Prime, RID, IDW Muscle Car)

For the G1-ish designs, I like WFC the best. I think it works a bit better than the standard windshield chest design.
For the Movie-ish designs, I like the Prime one. He has all of the strengths of the movie design without the over-detailed roughness of it. Plus his eyes are super expressive. And though it has no impact on the toys, I find his beeps and whirs from prime sound way better than the movie version.

Overall, probably Prime is the best.

IDW muscle car, Animated, and RID '15 top the list for me, though I like this version of his Prime design too:

    RID '15 Bee.
    - takes the muscle car alt, the tall, lean look established in the movies & Prime & streamlines it with nice, clean lines & gives him a face. I dig it. It also helps that he's my favorite version of him personality-wise.

I ran out of spaces. :lol

I guess I'd just group him in with the Movie Trilogy/Last Knight Bumblebee design, since he follows the same transformation scheme and basic robot mode layout.

This is probably a weird one, but my favorite is the Bumblebee on the cover of the "Ultimate Pop Up Universe" book.

Basically the TFP version with the G1 head.

I greatly enjoy BB's RID2015 design. He feels older despite still having a youthful feel. I like how it gives off the impression that he's maturing.

Yeah, it shows how much Bee has evolved from the cute round buglike best pal, to an insect-like muscular soldier. It's hard for me to choose between the two.

I'd ideally like to see a combination of the two: a competent warrior bearing a round but sturdy body, like a beetle or a ladybug. Sot of a Kamen Rider or Spider-Man/Blue Beetle homage.
