Yo, ya know what this means. It's a simple question. So with that, what's your pick? Mine would definitely be the cyberdemon (doom 2016). I just beat him a minute or two ago, and I honestly don't remember very many bosses from games that I play. So either cyberdemon or the bell gargoyles from dark souls.

    The Great Mighty Poo.

    Buuuuut seriously...
Mr. Freeze in Batman: Arkham City. I love how the battle forces you to use just about every trick in your arsenal, especially on the harder difficulties.

Julius Belmont in Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. Facing off against is a blast with the awesome music. So much of a favorite I made a duplicate save right before that fight so I could replay it whenever I wish.

Dracula from the first Castlevania - it was a classic platformer, and all about timing and patience.

Bowser in Super Mario 64 was fun simply for swinging him around.

Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat is an ass but once you beat him, you feel proud.

Some of Cuphead's bosses can be fun to do if you're up to the challenge as well as games like Dark Souls.

God of War PS4 Valkyrie fights too.

Tough call. I'd probably have to pick something from one of the Metal Gear games. Maybe The End from MGS3. Quality sniper duel there.
Or the Rex vs Ray fight from MGS4. It was very satisfying finally getting to stomp around in after spending the last few games trying to blow them up.
Or perhaps the Armstrong fight from Metal Gear Rising Revengance. That fight was a kick in the teeth difficulty-wise when I first got it, but it's great because of how ridiculous and meme-tastic the whole thing is.

And on the subject of boss fights, seems like this here video from one of my favorite youtube channels would be appropriate:

Slave Knight Gael from DS3. Moveset is like Artorias on steroids (though you definitely die more fighting Artorias).

Runner-up Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, Bloodborne. So much fun.

The Nameless King is fun to fight but relatively easy.

Quite a few: GANON at the end of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and every boss battle in the Metal Gear series like the battle against Metal Gear Rex in Metal Gear Solid.

I'm personally very partial to the Vergil fights in Devil May Cry 3. They keep you on edge, and make you feel like a total badass once you start whuppin' his ass.

I would like to add onto this thread and say that my new favorite is the soul of cinder from Dark Souls 3. That boss fight is perfect in every way, from music to actual fighting style(s), just perfect.
Damn, I haven't played any of the DLC's for these games. I have the deluxe edition of DS3, but I never actually explored either DLC. Definitely need to start a second playthrough and check 'em out.

They're a blast. Still tons of people playing them too so you'll get lots of invasions and summon signs. Also the best weapons in the game are speckled throughout, especially for DEX builds.

    This gets my vote.

And on the hardest difficulty, it isn't just about, you actually have to execute all nine possible attack vectors. It's the most demanding fight in the game (more than the actual final boss if we're honest) and it is 100% peak Batman in how he repeatedly must outwit an enemy in new ways using nothing but his equipment and the environment, while Mr. Freeze keeps pulling out more and more dangerous countermeasures in response to your actions.

    Its just sublime.

Kefka in Final Fantasy VI. Very easy to cheese if you had grind at all, like most FF final bosses, but absolutely epic.

Arkham City is one of the few games I would always play on Hard, partly because of this boss fight. I got so good at it anything less than Hard was too easy :D

    Me vs Kefka:

    ULTIMA
    ULTIMA
    ULTIMA
    ULTIMA
    ULTIMA
    ULTIMA
    etc.... :D

Yes, the battle was epic, especially with that unbelievable music. But, by that point most of my party would know Ultima, so I would just spam it until he was gone :p

The End from MGS3. Giving you so many options to approach this boss, one of the most inventive of its kind. Difficult but fun and involved so long as you know what you're doing

Honorable mentions: The Boss, Psycho Mantis, Gray Fox, Margaret Moonlight(No More Heroes 2)

Oh man theres a few that are quite memorable.

The Raven in Yoshi's Island on SNES, as annoying Mario was in this game, the boss battles are all awesome, this one is in my top 3.

Another one is Mother Brain in Super Metroid. While pretty much impossible to lose, the story and play through of the final boss with the baby Metroid is always fun to play, followed by that awesome escape scene. What a great ending to a great game.

Metal Man in Mega Man 2 on NES. A simple little boss battle but the music matched with that saw noise and all the bouncing around makes this a blast to kick his ass every time, rewarding you with one of the best weapons in any Megaman game on NES.

    Other fun bosses
    Crocomire in Super Metroid
    The Divine Beasts in BOTW
Mecha Wiggler in Metro Kingdom in Mario Odyssey
