I'm heavily biased to my main avatar which is a perfect combination of Dreamwave and the Aligned Fallen. And it has fire too!

 

I've always been spellbound by Aernaroth's dancing bird. So much spinning, so much spinning...

 

Ditto. The hypnotic trance of that damn parakeet has had me staring at it for half a minute on occasion. Plus, I used to have Parakeets and Cockatiels that did the neck roll.

I like my Soundwave DJ avatar because I used to DJ.

 

I'd say autoboticon's but scientifically we have no way of knowing what it is at any given moment in time.

I'm always changing mine because I get sick of looking at it after a while.

Kind of funny that the reason I don't get tattoo's is similar. I know I'll get sick of looking at whatever I get eventually.

Being the devout Brony I am I like the avatar of the ponified version of myself I did.

 

I miss Haloid's J-Law gif avatar. I also like Split's yellow thingy for his avatar, forgive my ignorance of what it is. Aeranoth's owl is always fun.

Alrighty then, this is a good one! Way back when Meta was but a hatchling, with DOTM Shockwave as his Avatar, Transformers Prime was getting into its prime and introduced the wonderful robot Dreadwing. Dreadwing's obsession with bombs led one user to create an avatar that fused him with none other than Batman holding a giant bomb ("Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb."), creating the ultimate BomberDreadBatWingMan. That user, a friend of mine before they left the site, changed avatars frequently, and when they switched out the bomber, I asked if I could have it, because I found it so delightful!

They accepted, gave me the link, and from that day forth, Meta777 became the BomberDreadBatWingMan. Now I wield the mantle of oversized bombs, holding it upon my shoulders akin to Atlas holding the very Earth! And also it looks funny.


I'll also remark that your waffle matrix is deliciously entertaining. Nice!

on the subject of avatars I detest mine, I can just never be arsed switching it out and I've had it since I joined

I didn't realize this till I resisted the RWBY page in the TV/Movie with my latest icon but I find it really funny how Wrecker217 also uses Blake (from RWBY's) symbol just with reversed colors.   I see I've found another Blake fan!
Falling into the fellow RWBY fan category is IceMagnus and her avatar of Weiss.

Also Aernaroth & Tikgnat have very funny avatars.
