No one in their right mind would buy a white magnus inner bot with red thighs.

 

I suppose it depends on your tastes, Inner Magnus with Red Thighs or fullMagnus with Silver

 

There's more occurrence of a full Magnus with white/silver thighs than a white inner magnus with red thighs.

 

Since XTB anticipated Margh by releasing the toy deco version first, and FT obviously will go toon for the first release, I wonder which of them will do a Powered Convoy repaint for some extra sales.

 

XTB teases so many repaints before Fanstoys can even announce a second once.

Hopefully by the time this drops we'll get some announcements and releases of some FT carbots options to fill the carrier: Lambos, Datsuns, Jazz, Tracks.

 

I hope FT does a Delta Magnus and a Nemsis Magnus as well.

 

Interesting announcement...However I am skeptical about when it will release. With the combiners and perhaps Fort Max, this is one of the most complicated figures they are tackling. They have revised blitzwing at least 3 times and they only just figured out how to Superion...let alone menasor...

 

I'm definitely down for Delta Magnus repaint. I hope there are no issues with this movie bot.

I'm trying to figure out a game plan. I currently have the Ultra Magnus and Delta Magnus MPs. But I also want both of these two new models. So if one of them add a Nemesis Magnus then I can get 1 of each version.

I'm thinking I might want to repaint my MP Delta Magnus into a Nemesis Magnus and then buy FT Delta Magnus and an Ultra Magnus XTB toon. (then sell my official MP-22 Ultra Magnus)

I like the idea that Magnus has a twin and he steps into the pictures and takes the matrix as the new leader after rodimus gets defeated in a battle. Who would be a good character though to defeat Rodimus that is the question I ask? Part of me likes the idea of it being Battletrap since it would be funny to see him go out to someone random since he doesn't deserve the honor of becoming a hero in his defeat.

I wish they would re-issues these two into deluxe size. A voyager size car doesn't fit into the mainline any more. Even older deluxe have a hard time staying in alt mode scale.

Funny how these voyagers are the same price as that new Ironhide which is a deluxe size. A larger box doesn't add value but makes it look like a rip off which is what the new iron hide is and it won't be the final version.

 

I’ll pass on the standard toon UM version, and likely bite on a toy version if no other decos are announced, but I’m really holding out for a Powered Convoy/ toy Delta Magnus version of this. I will happily throw money at that.

 

Butterfly joints don’t seem to be there?

 

Hard to tell from the available images. Wouldn’t be a deal-breaker for me as I rarely use them. I sincerely hope there’s no Matrix chamber, though, so the design isn’t compromised by needing to work around that space.

 

It is hard to tell for sure. Would be good for them to include. But I don’t think there’s anyway this doesn’t come with a matrix chamber… it has to.

 

A butterfly would be nice but not necessary. And yeah, I’m sure they’re going to stick a damned Matrix in there to satisfy the Sunbow fans. I just hate the thing and feel its inclusion is a waste of space, an unnecessary workaround, and sometimes a design compromise. The only thing I ever put in Optimus’s chest is the G1 fists.

 

It's nice to see FT catering to the comic fans for once.
