We all know FansToys for their fantastic 3rd party masterpieces...
But, every now and then I also come across Perfect Fusion, who so far seem to only focus on making the Dinobots.

When you look at how Perfect Fusion builds their Dinobots, you can't deny they look A LOT like FansToys.
They might actually be one and the same company??
(although different development teams maybe)

- Anyway, what would the added value of Perfect Fusion over FansToys be??
And are they planning more than just Dinobots?


So far I'm not too convinced... however they do look interesting enough to keep in mind.
So what do you guys think... what are their plans?

I think the short of it is that PerfectFusion is only releasing one Dynobot and it's made by FansToys as a way to offer a revision to their first release, which was a bit of a potato, without upsetting the people who bought the first mold of that Dynobot.

 

Perfect Fusion is a company being run by Fans Toys dalianjj, so they are related at least in terms of one person being involved in both companies. Perfect Fusion is only making Cesium, and not other dinobots. Cesium is designed to fit with Fans Toys Dinobots. We have no additional information about their future plans other than that they won't be making other dinobots.

 

Well so far, in the VS department PF wins by a landslide to me because their one product looks better than any product FT has ever done. But yeah, it's just a way for FT to leverage their share of the market so to me, they are one and the same.

 

I know they said just Slag but I'm not convinced. Could totally see a bigger Swoop in time as he'll look tiny in a complete lineup.

 

I don't see how people can't tell that Perfect Fusion is Fanstoys.  

 

i love my ft swoop but deffo room for improvement and size , the ankles on mine have just started going and only stands on display but don't need to knock the cabinet too hard before he hits the deck taking out anything in front of him  

 

Perfect Fusion is basically Dalianjj from FT and a different designer (not same one as as FT Scoria) that got together and decided to offer another version of Slag to go with the FT dibots due to many fans demand for a Scoria v2. This will be the only Dinobot they make. Note, Dalianjj is not the only rep / owner for FT, and this could potentially be the reason for needing another company name to make this product, but it was a while ago that dalianjj explained it on the boards, so cant remember exactly to be honest and could be wrong on this latter part.
