Its also pretty easy to ridicule them for scalper behavior. No harm in calling out these places for this kinda stuff or for thowing out a warning to fellow collectors.

Eh, I don't even find value in that. Just point out to potential consumers that there are cheaper options out there, and let them make their own decisions.

Some companies that charge too much still have a loyal customer base for other reasons. People can make their own decisions.

During the last week of September a fellow TFW2005 member reached out to me and I bought an immaculate FT Willis from him for £100 all in (postage included). There are some really decent people out there, and if you're watching the thread pal I can't thank you enough. I feel like if I hadn't met you through the boards here I'd have been in the realms of desperate prices down the line. Willis was my missing piece for the FT collection and now I'm all up to date thanks to you. For some perspective, have a look at the US eBay prices people are asking for Willis and it'll just show you that not everyone is in it for profiteering. And when a well known retailer is playing these awful selling tactics it's so so disappointing to see in the community. Such a shadow on our hobby. The more people who know about this scalping way of business the better. It's truly disgusting. But like someone mentioned previously; some moron will pay it and the cycle continues.

Anyway... let me end this comment on a positive note and say another huge thank you for helping me out and being an absolute stand up guy. I'm so pleased to know that there are some decent private sellers out there not looking to mug someone off. Cheers to you pal. I owe you a couple beers at the very least.

 

Predaking and Devastator.

Devy... cause he's the OG.
PK... cause no other company has release a G1 MP PK.

 

I really want an FT or Zeta Devvy. Anything 20 inches tall and solidly built.

 

20" Devastator is my top want. I'd like FT to finish at least one combiner before they start another, but maybe once they figure the combiner recipe out they'd be a good choice.

I re-watched most all of G1 this year and am halfway through Victory now. Still don't get the love for Predaking. I mean, I was specifically trying to figure out if this guy has a face/head or if the lion on his chest is meant to be his head.

But peaking ahead to Zone it looks like Predaking finally gets a real face.


That's his real face? You all are kidding me, right? Two vertical tailfins that kind of resemble eyes and a series of horizontal lines for a mouth? At least he gets a hat in Zone.
