From what I remember of ‘insider’ posts during the early days of 3P, before FansToys was even a glimmer in BSF’s eye, the factories that produce 3P figures also make plastic stuff for other markets, and at much higher volume (possibly millions of units). This could mean anything injection molded, from plastic forks to other non-TF, or even non-toy, multi-component plastic assemblies. I’m not sure if this has really changed, and it’s not limited to 3P, as Hasbro, Bandai, Tomy, etc. all need to share this factory time. I’ll bet this is still somewhat the way things go, and that large-volume items get priority. Well, Bandai may have a dedicated toy factory, but it doesn’t just produce Gunpla. Now, if a 3P company had enough capital to get their own factory, sure, they could easily run production of multiple figures at a time, but if the other big retailers don’t have dedicated transforming toy robot factories given their relatively high volumes and profit margins, I don’t think 3P does either. I could be wrong, as I’ve never been to China.

 

I would agree with that if fanstoys had their own factory. Last I read the implication was that they did not but we’re in the process.

Itll take time and a lot of effort but ill see what i can do. I have to go thru a few ppl first to try to reach him but its worth a shot. First i call @Fortynickel and he'll put me in touch with bsf, who will then send a car to bring me to a meeting with keith, who will give me the keys to a locker in grand central station that holds a burner phone, once i have the burner i text our sleeper agent @divinecomedy who, once activated, will provide me with the location of kevin bacons costume from tremors. Once i have the costume i put it on and howl at the moon on the upcoming solstice. If done properly the leader of the tf illuminati @ThatGuyCalledBlaster will apppear and escort me to another secret location where i will have to wait until djj deems my arrival and request worthy or not. Like I said alot of effort, but for u guys, its worth it

We haven't had a new release in like 6 months, I don't know if Acoustic Wave is gonna be plentiful and easy to get or a mad rush and none to be found anywhere. 6 Months is a long time to go without a hit of that rubber/metal and paint smell.

 

FT should enter the perfume market then.
