Whoa nice, I’ll have to do some more research. That looks cool too but I don’t know if I’m up for a huge pain in the ass. I just know I want something I can plug in and maybe have controller for, not some battery powered bubble lights.

Nice, I’ve got a couple of those tiny vehicle mode shelves too, that looks good!

Yeah, the only negatives really for Hue is that it's gonna be expensive. The bridge itself is $50, the starter kit is $75 for a 2-meter strip with an outlet plug at the end, and then every 1-meter extension is $25. Meanwhile Dioders go for as low as $25 (all of them are 4-packs of strips, not sure on size though), and Norrflys go for $30/$35 for 2 feet/3 feet; and then it just takes a shitton of time and effort. You probably don't have to break out the hacksaw for some Norrflys, haha.

Besides Decepticon combiners. Am I right in saying that the only "main" con bots left for FT to announce are the Seekers, Coneheads and Megatron (from season 1/2)? Which is really only 3 designs with a few tweaks to the individual Coneheads.

I really like the lighting you have here. It's not blinding and I like how the light faces the figures. Really clear, crisp set up.

This right here is pretty much top-tier. Love it. I pretty much made the fatal move on mine by lighting them from the back, hahahaha. Thankfully since it's a corner setup, each opposite corner is helping with the front lighting of the other.

Mine is definitely a rough beta version at this point. Pretty sure a couple years from now whenever I need to make a massive change in display venue, i'm probably gonna go with fucking ModuCases or something. In a perfect world, i'd still love to integrate Hue lighting into something like that but I wouldn't mind sacrificing it if it meant massive changes would need to be made JUST for that, or if I can't conceal them much like how you did with your lights.

Concealing them was a pain. I stuck the led strips on the inside glass and got some brushed aluminum strips and double sided tape to stick on the outside. It’s helps conceal the lights and hardly a noticeable cheat.

Enough with the animals already. I need practical real world things like tape recorders + tapes, microscopes and vehicles.
