I don’t know if the people who need to see this will see it, but I know a handful of people in this thread have mentioned ordering replacement parts from Fans Toys in the last few months and had been waiting for them to arrive for quite a while, so I just wanted to mention that the ankle and beak replacements for my FT Soar finally arrived today, and I ordered them at the beginning of March. So if anybody who sees this is one of those people who ordered around that time or after and are still waiting for your parts to arrive, you’ll probably get them. Probably. Hopefully.

It's only me, or does anyone else think that this kind o pose (which I see use a lot for TF) looks like it stumbled on something? I call ts something like "trip and rise" pose. Good thing FT don't use it much.

    (Not jr’s)
I don’t think I’d be in on that FT Fortress Max. It’ll be a grand~ Also, the Mrs. is cool, but having a toy the size of a four year old may not jive.
But a FT Scorpinok... I’d pull the trigger.

Mine also arrived like this. It’s an easy thing to figure out.

if your figure can't do the superhero landing pose right, don't do it at all, it looks stupid otherwise.

I assume the bombusbee Hoist price is just to prevent people from actually trying to pay up front. In the drop down, it shows that the price is 149.99, with a 999 additional charge.

This is very clever. I don’t mind putting down a partial cash deposit ($20~ is usually my limit) but anything more than that is bad retail practice, I think.

And they don’t always make it clear what they’ll demand until you’ve already ordered.

Was having a discussion on this on FB and it's interesting how people approach this hobby and FT. Several people mentioned the fact that FT does not have good articulation in general, and to them that's a very negative point. Although I like articulation, it certainly is not the top characteristic in importance to me. Although I’ve been doing some pictures of FT products, I even found that the lack or articulation is good because it requires me to be more creative in posing.

I do think that FT figures look good, pose good and are fun to transform, but probably the level of these are different between me and other collectors. As I mentioned sometimes before, I begun collecting (and transforming is a very important characteristic to me, as I don’t like action figures in general) to help with therapy, so to me, I always love transforming and find it extremely fun and relaxing - sometimes gives some anxiety, but it also helps because then I need to control my anxiety as part of therapy.

I transform all of them (including Koot and Rouge) from time to time. And yes, to me it’s fun, including the fact that I cannot transform them sometimes and then leave them mistransformed and come back some time after and finish the transformation.

Seems to me that it really depends on how tou approach all these aspects, and although it seems that most collectors have the same approach, some like me do approach it differently.

whereas I get my primary enjoyment from being able to pose an photograph the toys, the articulation and expression is the primary factor for me, followed by presentation
