If that’s true it could be heavy re-issue year. I think you’re right about using limited factory time for smaller runs of reissues and repaints cause those always dry up quicker.

I think their priority reissues would be the Sovereign and Quietus repaints since they confirmed that’s happening at some point. Then who knows.

Anyone have any notice regarding soon to be released figs? I know this Covin-19 is kicking the worlds behind, I'm just wondering if anything will be released in the next few months? I'm wondering if Sheridan will even be out by April.

It is obviously subject to change based on what happens going forward, but the best guess FT has reportedly shared (shared PM by a member, I have not seen it directly from FT) is resuming production in April.

I sure hope not. I hope if they have to do reissues (and hopefully they don't), they reissue stuff people haven't seen in a while like the Insecticons and Lupus.
And most importantly, Sheridan and Thomas get issued.

Oh I agree, I have both of those already. I'm cool with any older re-issues but my top choice'd be Stomp, as a late stage Dinobot bandwagon jumper. New stuff's always good too

Looks like FT-30B Iceman/Air Raid is due up next, per TFSource? They have ads up advertising him as in stock, but clicking on the link shows up as a preorder for April release. I thought they’d slow play the combiner sets and use the virus delays as an opportunity to shore up the engineering, but they must feel pretty confident to (seemingly) move him up the release order.

No, per FT, Sheridan is still next.
Take all the dates on sites like TFSource and move them all backward because the ones slated to arrive before those figures have not yet been produced/shipped/arrived. Don't just skip over the previous ones that haven't come out and assume later ones will come first based on outdated ETAs on a retailer website.

I agree. If they're going to do a sizable reissue, it should be Stomp. If it's a smaller quantity, perhaps FT-16M or FT-29T.

Forager is overdue given that the other bugs have been reissued, but there was a lot of breakage with that figure. Who knows if they will ever do a reissue.

W/regards to Lupas, I don't know why they would do a full reissue. FT-23 Dracula was awesome, and it took about a year and half for those figures to sell out. There are hardcore collectors who are looking to fill a Fans Toys void in their collection, but the truth of the matter is that when Lupas was originally released, he wasn't well received and retailers were stuck with unsold inventory for some time.

FWIW, I originally passed on Lupas. I had zero interest in the figure. I eventually caved and bought him because he was discounted, and he was the only Fans Toys figure I was missing.

So now that 3/16 has come and gone, I take it FT factories have resumed production and also replacement parts can be shipped out??

My local retailer has updated his pre orders and I now find Sheridan on the first page... but what this means? Who knows.

I am still waiting on my Roadking reissue. So nothing has moved since january for me.

    Which is understandable of course.

@dalianjj , any chance we could get an update on production and when Sheridan will see the light of day?

Hope you and yours are healthy!

Try sending him a PM. He's more responsive that way. Then let us know what he says.

Are we kidding ourselves even thinking that FT will be back into production stages soon?

I'll be surprised if anything is released before June.
