Do you expect some stores not to fulfill your order? I don't think the stores send their buyer ids to FansToys to enforce one per buyer.

The Dibots are not up on Rabbit yet. He is either slow (he is, ironic given his moniker) or I have missed it.

I already have Stomp, so thinking (since 2017) if I want blue Soar.

See, this is why i'm glad I don't collect Hot Toys.

 

People will pay about $2-300 for a custom face portrait... only a head... not even an entire figure. Then... you have the whole race to be first... and the China sellers charge big money for the first release wave. 2-3 figures at 2nd wave, and you're over a $1000 USD easy.

This is small potatoes. People complaining about 3P bots or Fans Toys... better not even dream about Hot Toys. Marvel and Star Wars especially.

 

Don't believe the hype. I have two Hot Toys figures, all they do is drop in price  

 

As I had problems with LBP in the past, I prefer to have more than one preorder as a safety measure. Besides, some stores in the past did not fulfill their orders to me, because they were not able to get products from FT (this happened mainly related to the Thomas release when things got very confused, but recently, even Three Provinces had to cut some orders).

Also, this is not related to the one per buyer policy, but the fact that sometimes FT cuts the orders from some stores (either everything, or a part of them).

Rabbit has already opened POs but they ended in minutes. Most of the biggest stores (Rabbit, Aofeng, Three Provinces, ZW) either did not open POs at all (or, in the case of ZW, opened just for their VIP/Super VIP members) or they opened and most vanished. Another factor is that those were opened Friday night, which usually means that they would take some time to be cut, but this did not seem to be the case (although you can still find some POs for the Dibots in very small numbers are some stores, and I am pretty sure that more stores will open their POs in the next few days).

 

Hot Toys you can comfortably pre-order from any number of sources. I guess they're hard to get or expensive if you're obsessed with getting first batch from HK, but that's a completely different thing.

All of my PT figures and some of my Arkham Verse figures have shot up and up in aftermarket pricing. It’s mostly just Marvel that doesn’t.

 

I like ZW, but I'm not preordering with them anymore due to this.

It is easy to be their VIP member, you just need to join their group. Unfortunately, I can't do so cos I'm unverified.

 

I didn't buy them to make money, truthfully. I bought Iron Man Mark L and War Machine IV, both of which have been selling for under MSRP.

 

I disliked my Mark L a lot, but that was a personal preference. That WM Mark IV, on the other hand... **chef’s kiss**

 

Not a bad idea. @Marcelo Antunes , you've mentioned before that you're specifically a Fans Toys collector, but I'm thinking now that even this is too common and generic. Time to become a Stomp collector.

some people just don't care for the drama, it's supposed to be a hobby, something you enjoy doing, and the drama doesn't do anything for that. I know, some people enjoy getting and keeping shit going, and that's why they are on these threads, just seems like a waste to me.

 

Everything is SOLD OUT about Fanstoys.  I was waiting for Willis reissue but it looks like I'll never be able to order it even they reissue it.
