As much as I enjoy some good speculation it's probably just this reason here. The market is happily bearing the new prices.

 

Hey, if it means they won't shatter due to a shelf dive them I'm happy.

 

I just feel like both the Stunticons and the Aerialbots are too far along at this point for them to JUST NOW find out the skeleton they had planned to use isn’t working.

 

Does anyone else find it weird how they are just endlessly figure dumping at this point? November and December even have multiple figures dropping in each unless that somehow changes. Have they ever done this before? I'm sure they probably took something of a hit last year thanks to the coof but damn, slow down. Plus the massive price increases coupled with an overload of figures jammed into a few months time is getting to be a bit much (for me anyway). Gimme a breather, FT! I picked the wrong year to collect other stuff than Transformers.  

 

So..
We were going to get the insecticons, one a month: June, July, August however Some Chinese sellers have sent out all 3 so far and it's not even July. With today Pre-orders and previous orders the release cycle looks like:
June: All the Insecticons
July: Soar
August: Stomp
September: ??
October: ??
November: Telsa
December: Rig/Chomp

Should we expect another surprise drop for 2 more pre-orders to fill out September and October? If so, who? I feel like at least 2 of the 3 remaining dinos are a pretty good bet.

 

From what I've gathered the general way combiners are done is one bot at a time d/t production costs. So, while everything went together great in CAD once it's all together in the real world and having to deal w/ actual weight and tolerances things can go sideways. And the FT bots are heavy, much heavier than any combiner bots I have from say Zeta or XTB. And again, this is all speculation, but I think the skeleton as it was designed hasn't held up.

 

Not to mention the feeling that you can't relax..there's always potentially a pre-order around the corner. Exhausting.

 

Definitely the Dinobots, maybe Reflector. It would be easy to produce and people really want a reissue of it.

 

I'm seeing Rig in November and Phantasm and Jive in December with Chomp. Crazy if it works out that way.

Also, don't forget Apache will be coming in July or August.

 

Poor Soar, still in stock. The least loved 2021 FT release so far.

I could see this being the case, but also maybe they saw how XTB was raked over the coals for their trailer on so many levels(additional cost/frustrating transformation). At this point, and I'm guessing I'm the only one, for the FT combiners, I'd prefer a zeta combiner torso over a "clever" xtb style trailer that has odd transformation or flaws because the mass of the combiner had to turn into "something".

I picked up a second to complete my Dino mode set. So I did my part.  

 

I have the XTB Menasor and really like it but yeah, I prefer Zeta style. I think DX9 has the best approach for an MP Menasor so far, it's pretty stable. I just prefer the look of the XTB.

 

When are we getting that FT-01 Prime Trailer reissue?

Yeah, I'm not knocking the look of xtb menasor, more of the transformation. He looks fantastic in combined mode.
