Stacking Bennies till the rubber band breaks
Neither one do... but they can upgrade to more sever space. May or may not be worth it... depending the hosting rates.
Dinos are extinct. Aligators on the other hand .... I once had a croc sausage down in New Orleans. Pretty tasty!!!
That's what I said last time. ToyDojo migrated to Shopify. In theory they too should be able to scale up and down easily.
I shouldn’t be complaining, cause seeing a Dibots reissue is something I was dying for, but Fans Toys is bleeding me dry with these steady preorders. What on Earth are they trying to find?
They’re actually reissuing All the Dinobots? My set was going to put my son thru college!
Just canceled my tfs po's. Time to take a shower
Just a personal theory w/ no real evidence to back it up but I think all these are funding a redesign of the combiner skeletons and maybe even supplementing the final price. Again, pure speculation.
Ya gotta wash off that TFSOURCE stank
What makes me said is that it's very likely we won't see Berserk until next year now, unless FT decides to release it in September or October.
I mean, that's how all profits work. Reissues are nothing new for FT.
Maybe it’s just to keep the final piece of Menasor from being $600s
No. The skeleton was going to be 1000, but with these reissues, we are down to 600
If you buy two of each, when he's ready to go to the bursar's office, you can just hand them the full second MISB set.
Yup. It's clearly shown in the pics, I just think it's strange that of all the characters, Perceptor has a tank mode, and more strange that Fans Toys thought to make one for him. His toy had treads I think, so it's a nod to that I guess and they just went more creative with it.
My crazy stoner theory is they finally got their own factory. Thats what they've been up to during this radio silence. Getting everything setup and running. The sudden influx of reissues is them testing/breaking in new machines with old molds they know they can bank off of. Release them quickly while they get dialed in and sprinkle in some new/redesign/2.0 versions in the near future along with a couple hastily produced color renders of fan faves. And in the the background still be working on bandit and the skeleton while building up massive hype with the other releases and reissues. Looking at the release dates, all of the reissues are coming in short order but the new/redesigns are later in the year and i suspect to not see them all til early next year tbh. I might be way off but its fun to think about
The Adamantium/Vibrainium alloy needed to build the Menasor and Superion endo-skeletons is not going to pay for itself. The shipping from Wakanda alone has tripled in cost recently.
This is kind of absurd to think of, with no evidence of it on the horizon, but I really hope this somehow leads to an 86 movie Scourge. I’m dying to complete that trio.
FT's factory is also .... a combiner.
Or maybe they are charging more because ...... they can.
True but the price ranges we're seeing are new. FT is definitely pushing the envelope on 3P price ranges in ways they haven't before. We're also seeing big delays on finishing the combiners. I'd wager they got in a bit over their heads w/ the total combined weight of the final combiners and need to re-engineer some things. That costs money and if it means recasting master molds then it costs a lot of money. Hiking the price on reissues that sell out in moments is basically printing money for them as well as prepping the market for the final combiner cost which is going to be substantial. So, FT gets to give the fandom the reissues they've been asking for while making good money and delaying the combiners for redesign all simultaneously. It's kinda clever actually.
