What do you think Spotter would go for?

    I'm thinking $250 minimum. Probably $300.

What would you change on Spotter? It's a boring design but it's pretty damn accurate to the source material.

I want a FT quality toon Reflector. If the design was updated to FTs latest esthetic I'd be over the moon.

Dude a three pack only? What a fucking joke.

The pre order is still up for the canada site of agesthreeandup.ca
Not sure how it's sold at one and not the other

I got one and I guess I'll just sell the other two I own. This thee pack has me triggered as F though.

Would be nice if I was able to snag these, but that work life keeps me from checking my phone at all in the day. I am a sad Panda. Hope they reissue these again and they fall on a weekend lol.

    That wasn't a re-issue, it was a 30-minute lottery.

Agreed, I got no problem with pulling a leg or two for fun, but people don't have to come off as a jackass over someone else's decision. People can say what they want but jeez, people can do what they want with their money.

At the same time, though, you can't deny that the pricing on these reissues as of late are getting worse as time passes. I work in both the sweltering heat and the blistering cold, year-by-year, with a lot of my money going into this hobby, with these Insecticons being no different, Springer being no different and not Cyclonus either, and i'm getting 2 of each. And trust me, I want them BAD. I ain't scalping them, I ain't getting them as a status symbol, so anyone who thinks I am and are gonna push me around in regards to that can frankly piss the fuck off.

Cyclonus looks beautiful, Springer is the closest to perfect that we have so far in the looks department when compared to Saltus (who also looks good in it's own right), and FT's bugs are the best around, with Badcube being a compelling second place that can stand with the best of them.

    LMAO

It's so true, man... Though if you ask me in at least one way it's a plus. Badcube came back, and they managed to weed out the FT Insecticons for another run.

Aside from Starscream having a couple more accessories, Starscream is also the only one who's getting a standard release across the board. Thundercracker and Skywarp are TakaraTomy Mall exclusives in the Japanese market, which is why at least overseas that the pricing is somewhat all over the place.

I'd say between those, i'd say just go with the Badcube by default. I was gonna get the MMC but I cancelled my order with TFSource after the absolutely large influx of reports of people's sets breaking in various places, not fun. So I, for one, am absolutely thankful that Badcube came back from the grave and FT, thanks to BC, brought these three back. In on both of their sets, personally.

Yeah, Badcube's set still is an absolutely solid choice, especially for those who're looking for something a bit more playable, for one, obvious price difference aside. Still in on a copy of their's just to add to the ensuing swarm, haha.

    ^ This.

Spotter is looking pretty dated next to the latest offerings, but it's also hard to really say what would need updating. I wouldn't mess with the paint apps as those are solid. But definitely better plastic, better face sculpts and a little more diecast wouldn't hurt. Beyond that though it's hard to say. I feel like aside from the bad face sculpts that maybe it's his arms. They look so angular and blocky (and a little cheap) compared with newer FT figures. Anyway, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing a 2.0 of them. A reissue of the 1.0 I feel would be a mistake.

After receiving all of the feedback for the Insections 3-pack, Fans Toys will re-release the three Spotter bots individually.

I'd be in for a Spotter 2.0. The Reflector market honestly is kind of a mid-range one when looking at it. I recently got the KFC set and I think overall they're fine, not great though not bad, pretty sure Maketoys', while I think they look better, they're around the same in terms of performance.

Definitely seems time for a new Reflector to come around, however it may, I agree. And if it's up to Fans Toys to do so, so be it. I just hope, much like you do, that it steers more towards the toon-accurate style, but also hoping that they don't suffer from the recent lack of articulation across the board that's really throwing a wedge into things.

Yes today. As far as I saw they were the only retailer offering them separately. Probably lots of people going to be selling individual bugs once they get their three pack because they only ever wanted one or two of them to begin with

    Thanks.

They’re still up, also. These will definitely be staying in the box, since I have a set already.
