I agree. It's what is keeping me from just ditching my Huff 2.0. Haven't made up my mind yet though.

Battlemask option? I've still got X-Transbots Krank on my shelf as it's the only MP scale Huffer to offer a toy head. I want to replace it - help me out here Dalianjj?

FT did a good job in hiding the wheels in bot mode.

Exactly & good riddance. Huff 2.0 looked and felt like it came from the Dollar Store. Goodbye to the old XTB version as well. At LONG LAST, a 3P MP style Huffer DONE RIGHT!

Beat me to it. Huff is great, but this reflects G1 Huffer more.

Yes. The arms coming out of the side of the torso seals the deal for me. Looks like he stepped off the screen. I’ve been critical of Fanstoys of late but their designs are always spot on even if their transformations leave a lot to be desired. In the case of this figure it can’t be worse than BC or XTB versions.

Looks amazing, but why is FT so in love with the single-piece crotch flaps? They really screw with the sculpt when the hips are articulated.

1 piece hip skirts are dumb.
Its one of the few things that really boils my blood. Why make a great looking figure and then saddle it with this sculpt destroying abomination.

Yeah its fine in the static a stance but anything else looks ridiculous.

    OK rant over.

I really like my huff v2 in bot mode, will need to see final colours before I can make a real decision.

There's already multiple Huffers that do that, though. This is for those of us who want toys that feel like we plucked them from the TV screen like a Wonkavision Wonka Bar.

I'm actually liking the arms being lowered like FT is doing it. Real world Alt, Toon Bot proportions. There's a high chance I'll get this to replace Huff in bot mode. If/when FT gets around to doing Skids I hope the arms are just as weirdly placed. Humanoid shaped but not human proportions. I'd swap out my XTB in a second if they do.

I'm tired of Fans Toys (trying to?) make my current collection obsolete.

BUT, other'n size, there's not a thing I dislike about the looks of this one. It looks like what I want.

...course, it'll be way too expensive to replace my Huff v2, and this one will have paint scrape and plastic panels cracking when you transform it. Yay!

Wait... *scrolls up* Sonuva.. That is just about there single biggest deal breaker in my book. Might have to start trying to hunt down a Badcube version. I'm also not keen on the weird shoulders.

Between this and the one piece crotch flap, I'm torn - the face sculpt is actually quite attractive. It's a shame because any pose that either A) flexes at the hip, or B) rotates at the elbow is going to make this little guy look all weird from a front-on angle.

i'm hoping they don't add a metallic layer to his paint job. i'd pretty much prefer a single tone with a layer of clear
