Dang. This guy looks pretty much perfect. I’ve never bought a 3rd party figure before, but I don’t know if I see Takara besting this one.

I don't understand when people expect to be able to get a deposit refunded. The entire point of a deposit is for the retailer to protect themselves from cancelations.

It’s $15. That’s enough for an adult with a job to say “I want that back”.

also other retailers don’t need deposits to secure PO’s...

I think ShowZ does it best, where if the thing comes in and you don’t buy it, they keep the deposit. If you decide early you don’t want it, you can just turn it into store credit. It kinda works for everyone.

Probably they won't. I sincerely think that the 3P companies generally outdo Takara in their own game recently with maybe the exception of Beast Wars. I hope Takara get their shit together, because they are "supposedly" the ones who should lead the market.

Because most stores offer refunds on pre-orders one way or another, either by full refund or store credit. To expect that they don't offer refunds would be ridiculous. Bombusbee has specifically stated on certain pre-orders, like the Insecticons, that the deposit is non-refundable while most other POs do not have that warning. So I would guess they do but it's just a guess.

I wish someone actually answered this question without a reply like yours and who has a real answer because there are plenty of us who may need to cancel. $15 a PO is nothing to just brush off.

This one I don't feel dirty about POing. Hopefully he'll be under $100.

It’s FT, so won’t be. $100 is the minimum price if you fall to your knees and beg. $150 is probably what they’ll do to move the goal post.

If you're going to be snarky and unhelpful, you might as well be silent.
I obviously didn't expect it. Would I have even asked the question if I did?
I'm willing to eat the higher cost for making sure I have a preorder, but I was hoping I didn't have to from other bombusbee customers.

Lol, lazy huh? I've read it, the actual item listing says nothing about a preorder deadline for those particular FT preorders. The site is ambiguous.

Wasn't lazy but that was the one place I didn't think to look! Thanks.

Yeah, it's very ambiguous. I wonder if the "deadline date" is the estimated arrival date because I don't see anything about a deadline date on anything.

I thought the same when Apollyon was released.

Then Takara hit us with MP-36.

In Apollyon's defense, I say its a better Megs for MP-10 then MP-36.

I am curious to see how Parkour will looks alongside MP-45 'Bee. The Chibi alt mode makes me think that's what he is intended to go with.
