It’s definitely a popularity contest. I think CJ is popular enough that TFSource will probably raise the price twenty dollars every three days.

I would expect most the the Ark Autobots to be pretty popular. I wouldnt wait to get them

 

If it follows the trend, Asian retailers will be a month after EU/US retailers.

Will FT do a Bumblebee??

 

I'm just talking out of my butt here but I'm sure they will. I suspect it'll be among the last ones they do (to avoid upsetting TT) along with Prime and Megatron. Bumblebee is too much of a flagship character for them to skip it.

 

They'd be crazy not to. They can't be happy either with TT's take on him.

Good to know. Pretty sure I ordered Jive way back, but can't remember getting any discount on it. Ah well, a fiver is a fiver! Membership and loyalty voucher knocked another four quid off as well. First time in ages I'll have less than a hundred quid in TFs on my credit card!

I don’t ever preorder— FOMO isn’t a feeling I’ve ever experienced. I prefer to see in-hand reviews before deciding on a purchase. I was very interested in Jive at first, but by the time I saw videos, I was glad I waited because I would have been very dissatisfied. With others figures like Aussie, I simply lost interest and decided to pass.

If I end up paying a bit more for Parkour because I wait, then so be it— patience has saved me a lot of money and disappointment over the years. I don’t need to get it ASAP. And if it initially sells out and I have to wait for a reissue, that’s okay too.

 

TFS-Express just confirmed $74.99 plus shipping as their price. Just checked for UK and it's $15 for 2-week shipping, or $40 for premium.

So for direct comparison purposes, to showz and BBB, you're talking $90 to the UK.

 

I would expect another company, and not just because FT has yet to reuse a side company name. Since the Thomas KO used the RP name I would think FT will abandon it.

 

I predict Robot Paradise Beetle for late 2024.

 

Probably everything that Takara did will be last. So we will get all combiners, all Headmasters, all Targetmasters, all city bots and then finally Bumblebee and others.

 

Glad this is releasing finally. He is the last major gap in my G1 S1 cast. I’ll probably upgrade here and there and may even add a character or two, but he was the last true hole. Now, to wait since I ordered from baba and bbb.

 

I believe FT has expressed that they fully intend to get to all G1 characters. BB might be a situation where they feel they need to be careful but I'm sure it will be like outback/brawn they will do both

 

FT have already released 3 bots that TT have done previously and have another 1 confirmed for release, I don’t think there’s any way of predicting their release strategy
