Well, except for the chrome that scratches off the missile when you transform it, thus defeating the purpose of an incorporated missile.

There's a rumor going around that TT's unannounced version is never going to see the light of day. But it's just a rumor.

More options are always a good thing, regardless of preference.

 

It isn't a good look, but FT just doesn't seem to care and regularly used a thoroughly used test shot for these videos instead of a premium finished figure they could sell.

I appreciate that FT clearly showed the backpack from most angles so anyone who is concerned can judge before anyone (other than Omegalock I believe) has requested payment for the figure.

Personally I'm disinclined to believe the rumor at this time. I will wait until the next new MP announcement before really assessing the rumor. What I've read (no idea if it is true) is that Porsche was not willing to okay the chibi alt mode. It seems odd since Volkswagon okay'd it for Bumblebee, but I guess (if it is true) different people are in charge of licensing for VW and Porsche even though they are the same company.

 

I wonder why? I like Fans Toys bettter, but I do like how cute Bumblebee 2.0 and their Cliffjumper are in car modes. They look like large penny racers from when I was a kid in the 80's. I may have picked up Takara if not too much.

Even if Porsch is not willing to OK the chibi mode who cares? The chibi mode looks like it's own thing. Why not just release it without the Porche ok? Maybe it has something to do with masterpiece Jazz? I never thought Cliffjumper was a real car anyways. I just thought they modified the body to approximate a car for the mini bot that was Bumblebee.

 

Not sure. I saw chatter about the molds being lost/destroyed/damaged, but I don't know if that was from the person who started the rumor or if that was speculation that cropped up after the rumor. This stuff spreads like wildfire and can be hard to keep everything straight.

Regardless of if it's true or not, I'm sure the existence of the rumor has made more people turn towards Parkour.
