£89.99 on Omegalock (roughly $110) but omegalock tend to skew a little more expensive

£89.99 not including shipping. That's if they have stock left over from preorders. I reckon they will based on stock levels from the previous year still being available.

I know objectively the FT effort is better but I still find myself somewhat drawn to Takara’s.

Me too. Is there pecking order to which retailers get stock first? Is it always the same or does it vary based on the manufacture? Who always gets Fanstoys first?

Fans toys in my experience tend to send to American retailers first then other western ones. Then the Chinese retailers tend to get theirs, no idea why but has been like that for a while now

Noticed that with Jive. Didn’t know if it was always like that or it varied. My preorder for Parkour is with BBB. First time I’ve had a preorder with them. Was wondering if they were last on the list.

I think this began in 2021 when the Insecticons reissue came about - there was a scuttlebutt surrounding American prices vs Chinese and who receives stock first. But it definitely seems to be this way now. Prices are lower in China, but they receive stock later, so that's the tradeoff.

I see people talking about retailers asking for balance payments, Fanstoys haven't even posted any video's on the little guy as yet, or maybe I missed something

Cause American retailers complained to Fanstoys that US customers would pre-order from multiple sites, then cancel their domestic orders and order from the cheaper Chinese sites once stock came in and the price was known. So Fanstoys agreed to delay allowing Chinese retailers to sell to the US for several months.

out of the next two figures I buy (that I have assumed for some time will in fact BE the next two figures I buy)…was kinda hoping the Star Toys Blitzy would get here before Parkour.

Was genuinely happy to see the Omegalock balance email yesterday. Toro is arguably the least toon figure in my collection (Boost is another, but I still feel that's marginally better), and this will be a real leap forwards. Can't wait for Variator either, as FT has been doing a great job with the minibots. Takara's Cliffjumper looks a lot worse than its Bumblebee to my eyes, and although this still looks to have half a car hanging off of its back, it's a lot more cohesive overall. FT also addressed the issues I had with the colour of the face, so all good!

Parkour's face makes it a contest. Still can't believe how far off it is. Even if FT changes the color to gray it's still comically bad. Hoping this is a case of it being better in-hand than in photos.

I have a feeling it will. Takara's face sculpt isn't great either though.

Looking at the prototype, it's a clear plastic reshell....

I'm not a fan of clear plastic in mainline toys. Let alone an MP figure where practically the entire top half of the altmode is painted clear plastic.....
