As for the Dino's I'm waiting as well. Could go for Giga but my wallet only allows for the FT Aerialbots and Stunticons right now. Besides as you say, I want the Dino's to be cartoon accurate.

That's the only thing that would get me to buy Dinobots. I have the Reximus KO Grimlock to keep me going, but I'd probably bite on toon accurate ones.

They were apparently done with Quakewave after the third run in 2013, right up until the re-release in 2016
And they still claim that Jabber is blue.
Remember those weird metallic prototypes of Hunk and Sheridan?
Also I’m pretty sure they didn’t create Tesla or Spindrift with the intention of re-doing them several years later.
And when was it they first revealed Acoustic Wave and then decided to abandon him, right up until last years reveal?
I even recall at one point FT saying they weren’t going to do Grinder because MP-08 was a thing.

FT are business folk. If there’s a demand for it, and they think it’s going to be profitable, they’ll do it. A toon redeco of Dino’s is a lot cheaper for them than 5 brand new characters. It’s just a question of whether the demand would be there. Just because they said no at one point doesn’t mean they can’t change their mind.

Realistically speaking, their Optimus, Megatron, Dinobots V3, and Starscream will be some of their last figures. Given they have been around for 7 years, but have ramped up production in recent years, they should be revealed sometime in 2025, and released around 2030.

 

I tightened the screws in the hips and used a generous amount of Future Floor Polish. They are tight and strong.
