Agreed. I'm sure they'll work on it. These are just early designs. We finally get an 3P MP Huffer with the proper shaped cab! Rubber tires too.
It'll beat the breaks off Badcube Huff 2.0.

If Fanstoys can combine the best bits of Cubex/Badcubes V1.0 & V2.0 then they will be onto a winner.

    FT Huffer will deliver
    -rubber tires
    -accurate shaped cab
-proper heft in hand and won't feel like a cheap toy from the $1 store.

No other single 3P MP version of Huffer have been able to deliver all of these features until now.

    Damn.
I REEEEEALLY don't want to buy a third MP Huffer, but this looks promising. I hope they don't continue to attempt goofy-ass, fake-looking alt-modes and chrome paint jobs.

    Just....goddamnit.

I will be holding onto my Cubex version but I am very interested if they can hit the home run with this one.

I was really close to getting this guy but I'll sit back and see what FT does.

These pictures are just drawings right? Not actual pro
The only off thing about V2 Huff was the lack of the slanted cab which they could have done easily. Not sure why they chose that design because everything else about V2 was perfect from the look to the transformation to the articulation. My guess would be that FT will over complicate the transformation and it will be 3 years before he is actually available. Where’s Blitzwing and Trailbreaker??

Already own 2x BC’s second version. I really like its bot mode and the far more realistic cab looks better on the shelf. The shape is wrong of course but it has the MP finish and details to fit in the officials “real car” ethos. The V1 got the shape right but the feel and finish was like a cheap Happy Meal toy. It’s a problem BC has - their Gears and Swerve have the same problem.
There’s more to designing an MP than just getting the shapes right, you need to get the finish and feel to pop as well.
Hopefully FT can combine the accurate cab shape of BC’s V1 with FT’s usual high quality finish, paint and detailing and make something that manages to be both toon accurate and “real car” worthy. If they do, I’ll be in for at least one.

Hopefully it won't need to be fixed like that awful Seaspray they produced.

There are a couple of quibbles. The shoulders are too "low" on the torso. They practically sit in the mid third of the upper arm segment.

The forearms are too short - the hands make them look even smaller. It's as if the positioned the arm in more or less the right place, and then moved the joints around in them to make it fit.

He's too skinny, but if their V2 Seaspray is any measure, he should be OK in height (Spindrift is tiny).
