Damn, Stomp preorder was taken from my cart when checking out. Made an account for just that too. :/
Kind of jazzed for this guy now that I’m looking at that paint job.
Chomp is sold out on TCP. They still have Tesla 2.0 & Soar after just checking. Thankfully, Chomp was a figure I didn't want.
Yikes Tesla 2.0 preorders out on tcp. I’m darn lucky I happened to look just 10 minutes ago or I’d have been screwed. I appreciate the heads up but at least 24 notice would be ideal. I’m guessing they may not have known though
And there goes Tesla 2.0 on TCP. Just sold out. Soar is still available. I think we all destroyed TFSource's servers. Couldn't get through them at all.
Well done gentlemen. We brought down TWO retailers tonight.
I finally have a chance to finish my FT Dinos, miss it by like 15 minutes. I even had money set aside in case anything came out. Ah well.
Fuck Fanstoys. This is just stupid at this point. They’ve lost me as a customer after the shit they’ve pulled since Thomas. I’ll stick with Tesla 1.0 and he’ll do just fine.
Well, the slight silver lining is the other US e-tailers haven't listed their pre-orders, yet. For those who missed out on TFSource or TCP. Keep hope alive!
You still got a shot when toy dojo, agabyss, bbts, & others put up their pre-orders. Yet, this is starting to take the fun out of collecting these sought after MP figures & I've only been in the game for a couple of years. Could burn out soon & sell all my stuff in the near future.
the preorder windows used to last months.
Yup, but there's been mold changes since then. In the gray version the little reflector on the abs isn't connected to the "stick" below it but in the finished version it is like on the G1. That change is gonna mess w/ an ab crunch or waist swivel.
Glad I decided to take a break from reading while camping (and that I have a strong signal) to check the boards. Pre-order in at TFSource.
With newbies such as myself adding our wallets to the fold & you got a small toy company with low production numbers, this is the norm now. Too much demand for small output from their factory.
At this point, there's no way you can convince me that this "scarcity" is not manufactured. What I can't figure out is why FT has decided to go this route. They cannot possibly be making more money doing this than to just produce more units to satisfy demand. I just don't get it...
Also check robotoybase. May pay more for shipping but better than truly losing out
TF source is now out of stock
Looks pretty cool. Hope a Magnifcus happens!
It's totally manufactured. I'm not one to justify their practices & I agree, I don't think they make much of a profit from this. If they can officially reveal their reasoning & be more transparent, that would be refreshing. If anyone knows the true reason why they do this, I would like to know.
Now if we can only bring down these absurd prices
