Whoa! I totally disagree! I think the Facesculpt is terribly different in comparison with cartoon. The nose is too wide and long!

The movieverse is like the Atari 5200. It will fade away while the 2600(G1) lives on.

They are doing Fort Max so you know Scorponok will follow.

Apache wasn't terrible for transforming. Honestly Rouge and Koot were more annoying to transform, especially Rouge. I should get a Fanstoys tattoo on my butt I love them so much, but that Rouge figure is a miss.

Hahaha I wouldn't go that far. But they are my favourite as well. Better than TT!

I wonder what stand they're using in the photos? Looks like Action Base 1 or similar, but what's the bracket?

    Yes.
You are weird. CJ's alt-mode shape and size is the definition of "silly".

Hmm. So the two are mutually exclusive? I could've sworn someone had made some figures with very realistic vehicle modes and very Transformers-ish robots. I'm mistaken, apparently.

    Shit. Did they abandon that?

Yeah. They won't have staying power. I'm calling it now: there will be NO revival of the Bay movies on the scale of "G1"s or even MOTU or original Star Wars popularity.

Hmm. I could've sworn that Paramount and Hasbro were quite pleased of the performance of Bumblebee film....Especially since it was made with half the budget of Bay's shitty film before that.

    ANYWAY.....

Goddamn!! This fucker looks fantastic! I'll be excited again when 2024 rolls around and Fans Toys releases him ("$300?! He looks awesome, but no way!").

I'm OK with minimal waist swivel since it's a Triple Changer. My DX9 Blitzwing doesn't have a waist swivel but I think the figure looks great so I'm willing to make concessions.

That's being said my main concerns is some lame design quirk like the Goose's inability to turn one direction and the price. If he's priced the same Roadking or below, then he's golden.

Wow, this looks better every pict. We should start a betting threat ;) . My money is on this coming out before their Blitzy. I'd say 80 out of 100 shot.

Astrotrain is the FT figure I am most excited about, I hope he's one big mother trucker, bigger than Roadking!

It’s 100% out before Blitzwing. These latest photos of Thomas are coloured prototypes... Blitzwing only exists as 3D renders at the moment. Don’t think we’ve even seen a grey model yet.

Holy shit I just took it out of my Detolf to check. I though that 2 pronged metal slider bar went down to the hip joint and I didn't want to try my luck with the Airplane nose cone hip pieces. It's not a 360 swivel but I'll take it! Thanks for the heads up.

We saw a colored prototype iirc, but that was before he went back to the drawing board. I don't remember even seeing a render of the revised one but I may have missed it: I stopped following Berserk about a month or two before they finally admitted he was being revised and I bought Ditka and am happy with him so I haven't felt the need to keep up with Berserk since.

I think I've seen a shot of him with some other cons and hes about seeker height. I'd hoped he and Blitzeing would have been abouts Megs height myself.

No, I think it should be at least Megatron height.
TW version is seeker hieght, and most of the people think it's too short.

A bit quick and dirty but comparing him with an mt conehead.
He's bigger than a seeker, tho i struggled to get the perspective matched here
