Why haven't TCP or others opened PO for this guy yet?

 

Same reason as always - it hasn't been officially communicated from the 3P yet as to the price, quantity, and availability date. Places like Show.Z try to front-run it with a deposit-based pre-order system, they don't yet know the final price, how many they'll get, or when it will arrive. It's basically a placeholder.

 

I think it hasnt been scheduled yet with the factory for production, ie FT doesnt know yet, and that might be determined later end of this year or maybe early next year. So lets wait a few more months, hopefully gets scheduled in for 2020.

My guess is at least mid next year at the very earliest, probably later, but no one knows now.

 

oh i meant in terms of having possibly his train mode be in-scale with the other MP car modes. steam engines are smaller than modern trains for the most part, so you could have a freight truck sized steam train and it would look pretty good.

Gotcha. Yeah, preferably these things fit as well as possible in alt mode, but scale is pretty much a lost cause in alt mode. Even where they seem to fit well together, Autobot vehicles for example...they're still out of scale. But I get what you're saying.

 

For all those people saying there are no pre-orders for this guy yet. What happens if I pre-order him at showZ ??

Is it like fine till they get the stock in, realise they only got 150 and because I'm the 200th person I miss out?

 

I have never heard of that happening for any other items from ShowZ. You can preorder and not pay in full if you wish.

I think itd be fair to say, as long as this thing doesnt explode during transformation, that this is the perfect MP of this character. Kinda like how MP 10 was when he first came out, they nailed it so well nobody would even try to compete, it just blew everyone away.

Is there any other time a 3P has done this?

 

I think it will be hard for anyone to compete with FT-10 Phoenix. MP-10 has had a lot of competition lately... v3 from Takara, TE and Magic Square.... so you never know.

 

Yeah Phoenix is pretty good, but then Seige Skyfire is basically identical (can FT sue? lol).

 

Where are you going to be? In the countryside? If you are in Kuala Lumpur there should be ways to get this.

 

I’ll be near batu caves, I’m sure I can get it in malasysia but I can’t preorder cuz I don’t know which address to put :/ no worries though, not an issue to wait until release.

 

Make crossing the roads a study. Very dangerous to not be sharp when crossing the roads in Malaysia. No joke.

 

Granted I don’t own the Siege Jetfire but the videos I’ve seen they aren’t alike at all other than the fact that they are both representations of the same character model.
