Has anyone ever heard any update from BBTS on this??

 

Damn BBTS got their shipment coming by turtle, this figure has been out since Sept 25

 

I'm beginning to believe BBTS has been put on this earth to test our patience. I love the store and service but PO wait times are absolutely brutal. I'm currently waiting on Gabriel (ETA last Aug) and Capone (ETA was October). Crazy to hear that even Thomas has been delayed too.

The wait may feel like passing a kidney stone but it'll feel great when the wait time passes and we have our stuff. Stay strong, lads!

 

Funny thing about BBTS is they didn’t used to be this slow. They used to get their shit the same time as other online shops. First time I noticed them getting their stock way slower than others was around the time MP-17+ came out. I had MP-17+ preordered from BBTS, but after waiting about two months after other shops get their shipment, I cancelled my preorder and got MP-17+ from another e-tailer.

I still get stuff from BBTS, but mostly if they already have what I want in stock. I very rarely preorder from them now. All this said, they’re still top notch and their customer service is great.

Since the gap in the wing joint would allow the xacto blade through, I cut these about 30mins after setting them. Something like FT Kup’s chest though, I cut before applying and put them on as 2 seperate decals.

 

I hope that the eventual reissue will be issues free.

 

With the way FT reissues have been lately, we'll be lucky if it doesn't sell out in 5 hours on top of a hike in price.

 

So I finally got him. I saw that @Sixo had some problems with the gun not fitting. I have the same issue. Did anyone else have that issue? And if so, were there any good solutions?

Besides that he looks amazing. What a toy!

 

BBTS allows people to save money in the long run. It allows people to think that they've gotten hold of something without paying for it.

The gun on my copy fits really well, but this is something that Fans Toys is consistently inconsistent with. I have several Fans Toys figures that does not hold their gun securely at all and it sucks. I guess the solution is to try and thicken up either the tab on the gun or fill in the receptacle in the hand a bit if it's too loose, or file the gun tab a bit if it's too tight.

I wish Fans Toys would just start using the slot system for weapon holding they did with Hunk across the board. That's a much better solution than the well past its time MP gun holding method.

Yeah guess it will be filing it down then. All companies should really use the FT Hunk gun holder. It's way better. But I guess. FT Thomas was already designed before Hunk.

 

Yeah, I really don't see any real reason not to use that system. I guess it makes the slot visible from the outside of the hand? I 100% am willing to make that sacrifice; I don't think I've ever had a figure where the tab-into-palm system worked frustration-free. It's especially bad on figures where the thumb doesn't have any articulation (like all of FT's minibots).

 

I have to cancel my BBTS preorder of Thomas due to financial difficulties, be on the lookout for a copy going up for preorder in a few minutes.

Yeah, it's very annoying indeed - still a problem on mine and I need to fix it. I love him otherwise though!

 

Did this actually go up? If not, it might be a bad sign for the rest of the BBTS FT-44 preorders...

 

Someone probably sniped it. If you mean the cost, I have no idea. It was still $210 when I cancelled it.
