Dang. That sucks.

Our mailman leaves our packages at our open front gate instead of driving up to put it at the second gate away from the street (We live in the country... FedEx and UPS are considerate enough to go up the driveway). I had MP Megs stolen that way. Occasionally they leave them on top of the dumpster. Thankfully I've always been able to grab them before the trash truck comes.

If I didn't work from home so I could grab the packages immediately I would get a PO box or something I guess...

They also scan packages as out for delivery even if they don't put them on the truck... So they'll say they're delivered when they're not and I have to wonder if they're stolen again until I get them the next day or two.

 

I think you'll more likely to get a better USPS service if you live in or near a big city. It's just the nature of the beast.

I live in the Bay Area, so I am just not seeing the difference between USPS, Fedex, and UPS or DHL for that matter.

 

I'm near/in a big city and it still sucks.

 

My Thomas from @ShowZStore hit my post office today so should be in my hands tomorrow sometime. No huge delay like KO MP-44!

And...finally opened my first Thomas from Agabyss. Added Decepticon waterslides this afternoon...

 

I'm a moderate sized city and FAR from the country and it's sucked for almost a decade now.

 

I live in the sticks. Cost of living is low. Wages are low. Its awesome. Better to live around idiots ur related to than idiot strangers

Yep. That's how they always are. You could've bought from a Chinese seller and still get it much faster.....at least a month faster.

 

It’s always been the opposite for me. My main home is in a very large city... my second home is in a very small rural town... and guess what... the mail service is 1,000,000 times better in the small town. Not even close. They actually care about doing their job, which is the main difference.

 

Everything's just better in the Bay Area. I've heard stories of USPS employees doing kumbaya every morning before setting out to deliver mails.

 

Except for the feces on the streets and trash everywhere. You couldn’t pay me enough to live there. Sorry.

 

Bay Area is bigger than SF. I don't live in the city. And we produce trillions of dollars  

 

Big city and I’ve never once had a problem with the USPS. Amazon has misdelivered my wife’s packages to the neighbors more than once, though.

 

Oakland is hard pass too. Lol.    
California... nice to visit... but I’d never live anywhere there. For various reasons.

 

I haven't been in a while but I actually liked San Francisco, of course I think once you got downtown,it was a lot sketchier.

Apparently Long Beach has USPS carriers/drivers that actually give a damn. You guys are lucky.
