It just throws things off course and whether you like them or not, discussing them is just broadening their reach and indirectly advertising them. Talk about the toys, not the reviewer.

Well, that's almost always the rule and not the exception with transformers.  

 

The fact that he's called Thomas was what really caught my attention. Surprised he wasn't named after one of the bullying troublesome engines.

 

The mascot sellers on ebay (mascotzone, mascot_home, wolvesbabies) have this guy for pre-order, but marked up the price by 58%.

 

Christ. I wonder if they sold the initial pre-orders to each other.

 

Looks like they have a total of 55 units available across all their sellers.

My guess is that they waited til imminent release (supposedly October) to list their stock because they knew pre-orders would sell out from other places. $349 is a crazy asking price though and it sucks that companies are doing this.

 

Oh and as far as the short thighs... Isn't that cartoon accurate?

Most people wouldn't get the reference.

I can only speak for myself. I have heard of Thomas the train; so I recognized the reference, but have no idea who any of the other characters are from that franchise.

Lucky you. My kid would watch that show whenever she could. Really gets on your nerves after a while. Love the reference though.

I missed the boat on the pre-order, and have never owned a fanstoys product, so I'm in the dark on their general availability. I've noticed this year their stuff has been selling out rather quickly.

Has it always been like this? Are they just doing smaller production runs this year?

He looks fantastic, and is the best looking representation I've seen, but I'm always weary of purchasing something without a review. I'm hopeful they will do multiple runs, but really have no clue based on not really paying attention to fanstoys.

Does anyone have any insight?
