Well a FT Devy will easily be 1k. But I don't think that's unreasonable.

If it’s still a pre order and NOT even in pre production phase why is it selling out everywhere???!?!

Seems like a false fake Demand and scarcity tactic. Damn. It works too, which really sucks.

Already saving up in hopes that their individual botmodes and vehicle alt modes are excellent so I have a reason to add them to the collection. I don't see a gestalt mode surpassing Constructor very easily but I could be swayed to get another set for botmodes or alt modes. I almost kept my spare Constructor set just because the alt modes are really nice.

No luck on reply email about Baba’s prepayment link.

I went ahead and preordered on eBay. With a discount it came to $221 so hopefully shipping recovers by the fall so it doesn’t increase.

I copied my PayPal transaction I for for the deposit made on the website. Hopefully I get that back.

Now I’ll just try to ignore it till the fall.

I think normal ft constructicons would be 105 for one pop. But with the price hiking now, it will be 150 for one. Over 1000 will be crazy.

As we are all paying 220 for astrotrain.
And next year when shipping gone to normal again, he will cost 160 ( i don't think he'll be 150 ). Bye bye 60 bucks.
If FTstill keeps these prices, then we all know where it comes from.
Everything got more expensive, but not 40%+ like astrotrain.

Someone please help. Where can I pre-order this figure? I was asleep at the wheel and had no idea he was available for pre-order. Astrotrain is by far my favorite Transformer and I’m gonna be really pissed if I can’t get this one. Please help!

if you wanna pay upfront you can get it at baba’s or ShowZ
Pre-order Transformers FansToys FT44 FT-44 Thomas G1 Astrotrain Action figure Toy
    [Pre-Order] FansToys FT-44 Thomas Astrotrain

And I they still have it at TFSExpress
    Search - TFs Express

But I don’t think there’s any open preorders at American retailers that I know of right now.

Thank you for this! I have only ordered rom American retailers before. Are the places you listed safe to order from? I don't mind paying for it upfront - as long as I'm for sure going to get the figure.

I can't really speak for TFS Express but I've ordered a bunch from the other 2 and they've been great. The problem is shipping from China right now is kind of a mess, with prices going up and some things sitting at airports in Shanghai for weeks waiting for a flight so I think people are going with American retailers more than usual because of the uncertainty of shipping costs and/or delays. This doesn't come out for 6 months so things could be totally back to normal, or could get crazier, so it's hard to say.

Also if you keep watching local retailers, they could open up one or 2 randomly if people drop their orders if you keep a tight watch.

I've ordered lots from TFS-Express. No issues and good service. They also operate as Omegalock for the in stock items (and Omegalock have an eBay store as well).

I pre ordered MP44, MP47 and others from TFS-Express and have ordered other stuff from Omegalock.

How do you think Constructions will be $100 when that's what a minor costs?

You know the old saying about nothing in life being certain but death and taxes? They ought to add inflation to that. Doesn't matter if aliens arrived bearing replicators or death rays, the result would be higher prices.

Yeah, FT doesn't roll out of bed for less than $100/figure these days. I see Constructicons being closer to $200 each.
