If you would buy from Taobao and ger the first preorders (from last year or more) you would pay something like 55 USD (price of Hunk preorders) and 17 USD (or less) for shipping, ehoch would ve somethingnlike 72-75 USD, so some 20 additional USD for not having the trouble (and preordering now instead of years ago) does seem a good bet.

I live in rural Texas, outside a city hit bad with Covid... so... I don't really see anyone but immediate family

Ah well, I empathize. But then again rural areas might be the place to be with this pandemic.

 

We seem to be a little more on the cautious side than a lot of people, but I already know several people who got sick, one who died, and I have close family that is very high risk... sooooo... yeah :/

Debating whether I should keep Arkos or not... hrm..... I still like the little guy.

 

Plus the accessories. No little birds with the FT one.

 

Arkose v2 is a good figure, liked him whilst i had him, but when trimming down one's collection to ones you love most, i prefer the weight / paint / joints of FT in general. I dont own all FT, heck sold alot / most, but loving the FT Stunticons and Minibots the most right now, and my current concentration (along with any new FT carbot that has compact bot mode)

If one has the room and doesnt need to do continuous trimming, they could get G2 Arkose and FT Dunerider..

 

Hmm, ta. The backpack is obviously an improvement, other than that Arkose holds up pretty well.

 

It is a constant balance. I got rid of a lot of non-G1 bots so I could focus my collecting, and I'm slowly replacing Bad Cube, MMC/Ocular Max and others with Fans Toys or official. Would continue with Make Toys too, but... they disappeared.

 

I paid the balance off a couple of weeks ago so won't be getting an email. Just waiting on the order to update...

 

FT-43 Dunerider is hitting shores with in the week, I hear he is going to catch some serious waves from collectors 'double dipping' in the waters.

 

So what's next in terms of the "mini-bots" from Fans Toys? I know we've got Seaspray on tap and they have teased a Huffer and a Cliffjumper. I wonder if they will eventually tackle a Gears, Windcharger, Powerglide and a Bumblebee. I'd say all of them are on the table at this point.
