It's a good thing Hasbro didn't rework Trypticon into Scorponok:)

We might get the Alien Xenomorph instead.

I think Hasbro's current mold-reuse methodology with modern CHUG has made the fandom a bit hyper-obsessed with the idea of mold reuse (as can be seen with the frequent suggestions for stuff like remolding Kingdom Airazor into Terrorsaur). But I definitely don't think that's where Fanstoys' headspace is at.

That practice is more common with MMC.

That's why FT is my favorite company. People accuse them of limiting supplies (with no proof), but they haven't reused any mold so far.

If FT wanted to sell a downsized 24-25inch version I would totally buy it. I would like to see the full scale 47-inch version in person just to see it exist.

We used to use this big tree stump as Unicron back when TFTM came out. This thing would be about as practical as bringing a tree stump indoors.

i should clarify. i didnt mean to imply ft fort max would be the nicesest tf of all regardless of size. what i meant was, of tf's made that size (titan up) i expect fort max to be the nicest. which i dont think is that bold a statement

Crude mock up of where I have haslab unicron and fort max penciled in. I’ve measured out for unicron. Max is the wild card.

Repaints are different by definition. Same character.

We'll see what they'll do with Hoist. Perhaps they'll emulate XTB.

I think you misunderstand. I am referring to basic geometry of a tall standing robot that flattens out to a rolling base as proof of concept of the bot supporting the weight and stability. Nothing to do with actually sharing a mold or parts. Titans Return sucked. I still prefer my G1 original.

As nuts as this is I just can't see myself ever owning it, the logistics just don't make sense.

I'd be in for the cerebros.

If they wanna downsize to this though

Plenty of Fanstoys figures have smooth transformations. Dinobots, Goose, Iceman, and Magnum etc

Aren't the ones you listed the only ones with smooth transformations?

Its like your photo shopping where small children will stand to look at your collection. You might want to save that corner space for a port-a-potty.

Now if I could get my collection in order to look that nice.....

I will be admiring this feat from afar. I'm good with Omega being my biggest MP figure. It is quite a proposed engineering feat though.

{Cries Manly tears} Oh my yes..... This must happen!

Not many "tree stumps" have a resale value of $1,000+ in 5 years.

No need to hide it, if others know what its worth.
