It seems like that boils down to maybe two versions to choose from. Remember that masterpiece is designed to blend toon and toy, so #4 is irrelevant since the source can likely be homaged while also being a triple changer.

 

I am hoping the sword activates a functional power meter with "speed/strength/intelligence" meter and read-outs like the original G1 toy headmasters had. I know OG G1 Fort Max lacked this... but it would be a tre cool add-on.

I'm guessing a mix of #3 & #4. I am hoping there are going to be waist cannons buried in the bot waist somewhere. Also interested to see what paint scheme they go with too.

 

Trypticon in this scale is impossible due to deep. Wonder how big Unicron will be.

They are great and I understand where you are coming from but understand that free shipping or not, the shipping will get transferred into the price and they are getting it from the same place. If this was another company I might be less inclined to go with an overseas option but I think I am going Taobao on this one. If you thought there was a wild swing between the price on Haslab Unicron and TCP, wait until you see the price on this one.

 

It's actually very practical if they are doing what it appears. I think they did it because they are going to have a special floating joint in the body for that to plug into and have good control over head movement. Unlike a small piece that could break off this seems anchored with a wider surface area into the bot and the body.

i cant speak for the other shops. but i do know Toydojo is not charging extra for the shipping on haslab unicron. unless you are in alaska for obvious reasons. i know this isnt the same thing. but it says alot about a company that trys to help the fandom and not fuck them.

that is one of the main reasons why i canceled my unicron from tfsource. because after the order they basically send you an email saying you are responsible for the shipping cost. so yeah fuck that.

 

Well do you have confirmation from Toy Dojo on this? I mean, if they're not compensating for shipping in their list price, I'm not sure what business sense it makes for them to eat the price on shipping (with insurance) for something potentially the size of a small refrigerator.

 

they sent out an email to everyone who ordered that everyone in the US has free shipping. international shipping is not free.

i am talking about haslab unicron here and yes i know because i ordered my extra one from there. he will be getting them at cost and not what we are paying list. plus there is already an added charge for the pay later gang. so i am sure he has it all figured out. BBTS is also shipping for free or 4 bucks at the very least. as far as i know they are the only ones who didnt pass this shipping onto the consumer.
