Why can't ppl just like it?

At the end of the day it's amazing this is even being discussed. Too big? HasTak has you covered. Everyone wins.

It's the 45" Scorponok that has me excited more too. MP Scorponok. Total grail.

Man, I take a day off from keeping track of the forum and this happens.

So first off, wow. I can't believe FT has the balls to swing for the fence like this. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. For me: too big and too expensive. And besides that, I have no intention of collecting Headmasters. Not at MP scale anyway (just started buying them at Legends scale).

Hahahaha! "Generous" isn't the word I'd use. Blindly, recklessly optimistic is more like it. I can't 100% rule out the possibility of this guy being under $1000 but come on, it's not going to be under $1000. I'd bet on $1500 or more. And even that might be on the generous side. Remember they were originally going to charge something like $500 for Omega before DX9 undercut them. It would take something like four or five omegas to make this guy.

...bruderstator: makes a 42" fortress maximus seem junior-scale by comparison...

It should be "cheap" cos it should be a relatively simple figure. $100 or cheaper.

If it is $150 for the head, I don't want to think about the body.

The enourmous hardon the fanstoys designer must have at imagining the amount of die cast he can put in this thing.

Could we call this legends scale? I'd love to see it with the UT / DX9 / MFT lines.

I don’t know. I hope Weijiang will oversize this so it can be in scale.

FT is too off for me. This is Bruticus and Metroplex in the season 4 intro but it shows how Fanstoys really messed up. Why can’t you guys do anything right?

P.S. This is a joke. I was trying out non-blue sarcasm.

Lol at the guys saying it’s too small or out of scale.

This thing is pure beauty and fan service!

I just turned 40 this year and am thinking that at this rate I hope I can live long enough for FansToys to make a complete G1 Masterpiece line. Lol!

    Amazing Job! Congratulations

I wonder how they plan to release something like this when they have said that their other figures already suffered from a limited time and space in the factory.... unless that small factory/time window was BS...

(Also Imagining the kind of springs that would need to be in the legs for the ratchets is painful)

Well, given that this thing is probably going to weight at least 20kg and could easily reach 30, even if a simple transformation scheme playability is going to be a concern, if only because of how strong the ratchets are going to be. I wouldn't be too surprised if at the end the project would be deemed unfeasible and only the head is released.

Looking at the renders I can't see a joint to lay down the feet for spaceship mode, but I can't believe FT is going to skip that mode.
