Very simple really..for me Transformers is made by TT and Hasbro. The rest as cool as some are are not transformers but more transforming robots.

I just dony buy 3p for that simpöe reason nor do I buy KOs.

Not saying some of the 3p stuff out is not excellent..

If they go with die-cast feet and torso like they usually do you'll need a fucking winch to transform him.

Does it include a room to display it? Otherwise good luck fitting that anywhere.

The choice is really easy, unless the motorbike happens to be the one from Mospeada that transforms into armor...
I also wonder if someone will be brave enough to try making a downsized ko of this.
Anyway, if for the FT combiners I am a bit worried that they might be less stable due to FT loving heft too much, for this one the concern is if it's not going to crumble under its own weight.

Some of us have dedicated rooms, this will be the jewel of that room.

This would be the centrepiece and pinnacle of anyone's collection... amazing if FT pull it off.

This appeals to me more than Omega Supreme, Unicron, Scorponok etc.

I too wonder if it would be a pita to handle and transform... and where would I even put it?

Personally I'd rather have a metroplex at this size

Have we considered the further implications of FT's doing a reasonably in-scale Fortress Maximus?

Those further implications being named Scorponok, Metroplex and Trypticon. Seriously, if there's one of the four titans being produced, the chance of the other three happening is pretty substantial... where am I going to put four 1,2 meters high (and likely quite wide as well) Transformers?! Can you even play with bots that big? I mean, I have trouble transforming my gigapower dino's because they're so big and heavy! I don't even want to think about how Fort Max is going to handle...

(... doesn't mean I won't end up buying all four regardless because I know how I am. Not buying Lupus is still one of my greatest regrets....)

Has anyone else noticed/mentioned the lack of spaceship mode? I know it is basically just the robot laying down, but if he can't pull that look off correctly i wouldn't be interested. Not once in the cartoon did he turn into a city. He spent 90% of the time in spaceship mode.

**edit. I was wrong. He did turn into the city on headmasters.

Too much of a B-list character to dedicate so much real estate for it in my case. I can see a huge Unicorn as a certerpiece for a collection.

There's literally no reason (that is, kibble or joints) that that figure couldn't do a spaceship mode. The only issue would be (perhaps) the tradeoff between ankle tilt and the feet laying down flat like the G1 toy - could be they hadn't decided what to do about the feet so they didn't show it off

If I had to put a price on this, an how I see FansToys usual pricing, I would say mid $700s to $1200. An that low number is being generous.

I might get one, I would have been more interested if it was Metroplex though.

Will someone make a Scorponox, I know there's one out there but I don't to settle for that one.

Wow. This looks crazy. I want it but finding a place for it will be a challenge. Paying for it will be too if it's priced where I expect.
