Even if it's just the head, I'll take it! Imagine if they just sell the body's ratchets/springs/and etc. and the rest as 3D files for people to print at home instead.

I never had any time off during the pandemic. A bonus would have been great.

This figure looks incredible and I had my pre-oorder In at TCP but I canceled it because the price this is going to cost I could buy a new MacBook Pro. I love transformers but I have no idea where I would put this. I can’t imagine anyone being able to put this in city mode and have the space for it. I hope I can see him in person one time and he looks incredible but I just can’t justify the price but more than the price the size.

no here’s the other thing to think about, we still don’t have the last but for the Stunticons or last 2 for Arialbots. How long do you think it’s going to take this guy to be completed? I really wish Fanstoys would focus on finishing those two combiners before moving to Fort Max.

do you guys think the fort Max will be a big moneymaker for them? I think they make more money if they finished Trailblazer or Blitzwing because every single figure would sell out.

I feel like we are getting a deluge of figures but the release schedule doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

If push comes to shove I will just put it on the floor in my office and just stand at my desk.

I don’t understand why people think that a company can only focus on one project at a time. The business model isn’t sustainable like that. It is logical to have multiple teams working on their own individual project or more likely multiple projects.

If the head alone is $230... I'm really curious to see what the final cost is. They've got to split the body up into several parts to make it possible to ship. I'm thinking arm 1, arm 2, upper torso, lower torso, leg 1, leg 2.

Best I can do with my limited photoshop skills.

They really could have done what XTB are doing with Punch/Counterpunch on this one. And if not, at the very least provide us with a second HeadMaster for the Re:Birth accuracy.

    *cough* *cough*

That seems doable. The trickiest parts will be the legs, unless there is no knee articulation, then you just have the G1 toy but bigger. The out facing parts of the lower legs will have to be really thick so you can accommodate the thighs (really thick plastic or dare I say die cast). And can you imagine the ratchets needed for the knees since you have to bear the weight of the upper body. Transforming that bad boy will count as a workout.

Great work! Releasing this one makes me worry that they are planning on releasing a Rebirth version later.

The complete Fort Max added onto this I would be surprised if it came in at less than £1,000. That (and I don't want to evict the lawn mower from the shed to make room for it), is why I would only be interested in their interpretation of Cerebros.
I would assume this is the same size as their Lupus.

What if the body made out of cardboard but has diecast weights stuck to it for "heft" and has a coat of glossy paint on it? What would BSF do?

Probably accidently crush the cardboard trying to transform it.

I really don't think it's crazy for them to charge 1k+ for the body, and there will still be buyers. They could ship it in one box if they really wanted to as well. Basically fold him in half and stick him in a 2x2 box. That's really not THAT out of the realm of possibility.

This was kinda my idea honestly…. Draw up a simple design and use some doublewall cardboard to make a study “body”

I saw FT-40A preorder emails show up on my inbox this morning and thought, “who the hell is this?”. When I saw that it was a $230! head for Fanstoys’s Fortress Maximus, I literally laughed out loud. I’ve never paid that much for any MP-style figure, much less just the head. I’m so thankful I have no interest in this figure, because I would not be willing to part with whatever they’re likely going to ask for the body. I’m shocked that it’s already pre-sold out.
