I agree, but this has never been Fans Toys style on anything but their Omega Supreme. Almost always (except Scoria) the hips are able to be tightened enough to not cause trouble.
Something though, on the other hand, like some of the KFC, and DX9 releases do bad hip ratchets come into play. (i.e. DX9's Galvatron). Had to nullify those ratchets.
However, that said, I will take ratchets over no ratchets any day since I have the OPTION to nullify them if I need to.
Ratchets done right are a human right in my opinion. Recently, some of Fans Toys Ratchets have been far from "good". They just can't seems to get the tolerances right on the spring ratchets they use. Ft-16 Sovereign was a good exception though, as was their Dracula/Mindwipe

 

They don't mean anything, they're a gimmick to make ppl think they've been checked and passed an inspection. Only problem is even broken/flawed figures get them lol

 

Recently got a FT Dracula with QC sticker. However something was wrong with the right wing and it would not fold back all the way and would spring back.
Not sure how thorough FT QC Is, maybe it's more of a quick visual inspection?

 

Is there a way to tighten the outward hip joint?

 

while he looks amazing, he does nothing for me and truth be told my last 3 fanstoys transformers all had problems, also the budget is tight this month, so i am going to skip this one

 

In pictures and because of the colours Hydra is not the most striking of figures but I still can't wait to get mine.
I do love big figures!
Even though they weren't ever on screen together I think Hydra will display very well with MP Star Saber!

 

Is the transformation simpler than GCREATION Fuuma?

 

My recent FT purchases lead me to believe it simply confirms the physical existence of the figure in someone's hand, not that said figure is actually free from defects.

 

This was going to be my first Fans Toys figure but I 100% agree with all these points and I just can't pull the trigger on this guy. Shame Sixshot is the one exception in my collection as he is the only '87 bot that I collect the rest are all strictly 84-86.

Great, almost a day passed, with 10 pages discussions, still nobody shared the 6 modes and feelings about transformation....(I only see a breif one said transform 2 modes)

To be fair, it just started shipping out yesterday, like I think there are only a couple of people who posted on this thread so far who actually have it in hand. Even then, sitting down and going through all the transformations will prolly take up a two hour block of time at least, and its a week night. I'm sure we'll start seeing some reviews later today, and more by the weekend hopefully.

I mean, my copy should be showing up tomorrow (seriously, kudos to Toy Dojo for making sure my order went out in time!), but even after I get off work there's the final season of Voltron to watch on Netflix, and the extra battle for the final gem to unlock Cyber Juri to do in Street Fighter V, so I prolly won't be able to put it through the motions until Saturday afternoon. (And that's presuming my friends don't want to do a few sessions of Gloomhaven or see Into the Spiderverse)

But heh, if I do have the time this weekend, I'll take my usual boring and uninspired pics and post them here.

I'd say zero inspection. The qc sticker is just part of the assembly line like any other part othetwise we'd get very few issues at all.
