This Hydra's got nothing on TR Sixshot. A stand-in made even more pointless by being not just released, but announced after the release of what it stood in for. That's just a bad business decision.

 

I don't know. It looks pretty good, but I am feeling super oversaturated with all the companies releasing the same characters. This thing will probably be $200+ and I can probably get the Titans Return Sixshot on sale eventually for like $30 or $40.
Does FT have a good looking design?
Yes.
Is it 5x to 7x better than the Hasbro version(or like 3x better than the Takara)?
Probably not.

I find myself thinking this a lot with 3P figures lately. If it costs 5 to 10 times as much, do I really get 5 to 10 times as much enjoyment out of the figure? Usually not. I actually play with the HasTak toys, but 3P stuff always has some issue or just costs so much that I feel like I have to be careful.

 

I wasn't happy with any of the other Sixshot offerings. Thank you FansToys for coming to the rescue. Sorry Hexatron, to Ebay you go.

 

I miss my season 1 & 2 bots. If it had to be season 3, I was hoping for Arcee. With all the modes on this one, I need to see in color before I decide.

 

TR Sixshot isn't aimed at the MP market. That's like saying Toyworld are wasting their time making Mp Bruticus because Combiner Wars. Two completely different markets.

 

Wow! This guy looks really phenomenal. He's the first MP-styled Sixshot that I think looks good in all modes.  

 

I'm not sure about this one. Why the fuck do 3rd parties make the same characters about the same time?

Blaster?
Astrotrain?
Mirage?
Cliffjumper?
Jazz?
Some new mold Seekers?

These are some I would like to see done. What about even Ft Mp Powermaster prime, or Ultramagnus, or even Megatron. Van Brothers, Runamuck and Runabout. Ft Brawn, Sunstreaker, this Sixshot looks good. We need new better updated Seekers.

 

i think if you're always asking yourself this question then it's prob time to drop out of the 3p scene

 

FT probably have MP renders for every transformers characters that ever existed. They will decide which one to release based on what the competitors have shown. So where is your MP Jazz or Cliffjumper FT? Show them now! kthnx.

I'm definitely interested. GCreations is a bit too stylized (IDW), DX9 looks like an amateurish attempt at MP, and MMC's is just dated at this point and better suited for chug. I'm actually impressed by the official so far, but it's not up to MP standards.

 

Look man all you have to do is make up some fake Third Party company, call it "Prime Time" and then throw up some half-assed render and BOOM. FTs will see your render and raise you one.

Boom simple, simple. Except Jazz FTs ain't touching that shit cause it has TT written all over it.

For me, this is a good news.
DX9 is nice, but other than Bot mode and wolf mode, other 4 modes are leaving many rooms for improvement.

I like this Robot Mode, tank mode and spaceship mode.

Here is what I want from each of 6 modes from this render

Wolf mode: I fear there is a hollow neck in this, please Fanstoys, don't do that. And can you add a tail for this mode? My only nitpick from DX9 is lack of tail. MMC gives it (kinda sorta, from a cockpit). It is up to you what is the tail. Something like extra weapon to form the tail is nice (Like FT Lupus or Perfect Effect Xerxes/Leonidas)

Robot mode: Give it sword sheath, please?

Spaceship mode: Nothing so far

Car mode: More bigger wheels perhaps? I like the compact in the back of car. And how about incorporate wings more in this mode?

Gun mode: Can you make it more cool looking? Maybe alternative configuration. I know this is nailing G1 aesthethic but it can't help to keep think it as fold up Sixshot pretending to be a gun. Alternative configuration to make it looks like real gun.

Tank mode: Good. It is good. One of nitpick: Rotation for missile or gun rack? I don't know to put it in words... But imagine it as M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System

this looks nice, but so does hanzo. I really need some color shots i guess.

really prefer the hand sculpts on hanzo, but this one has better aspects as well

 

I'm laughing because i literally just gave hanzo the edge based on that and its just a random arbitrary detail.

 

I'm starting to think that this trend of several different third party companies announcing MP figures of the same character at roughly the same time isn't an accident.

I'm also starting to think that FT doesn't know what the head of a wolf looks like.

 

Oh my god, I am in, I am fking in, this one blew me away. Sorry, but I feel this is a must, will go great with the bugs / blitzwing. Wow, looks fanfkingtastic.
