He's always been Magnus sized ergo a MP Sixshot should see eye to eye to MP22.

This looks really nice, and it seems faithful to both the G1 toy, & the animation-model. It seems to have all the major articulation points expected from such a large & presumably expensive figure, as well as just the right amount of surface detailing. It's not overly "greebled" or styled too far away from source materials; those are all good things, to me.

There are only a couple of things about him that bug me. One is that the upper-thighs are exposed in the space-jet mode. The G1 toy's legs close up so neatly and cover everything robotic so well that it looks like a step of his transformation is missing or incomplete.

And though I like the look of the chest-wings, I wonder how they articulate for arm/shoulder movement. I wonder if they should have been attached to the shoulder-fronts. But, from the crossed-arm pose he's shown in, it seems to work anyhow.

The knee kibble is true to the G1-toy though the pistol-mode lacking the central positioning for the dual rifles is not, and is a minus in my thinking. These are minor quibbles though, I suppose.

Overall, I'm impressed with what is shown. Hydra is another worthy contender in the SixShot Wars!

What are they NOT making? Heck, they're going to rival Takara's line at this rate. The reveal to release is glacial, but at least I know that something is coming down the pike.

In the realm of the Sixshot wars this one will more than likely be the best Masterpiece representation of this figure. However, the toy I'll more than likely want to play with and handle is the Hasbro version. Honorable mentions go to MMC and DX9 Hanzo (and even the mini version that IF is producing), but this one is going to be a true gem on a shelf, I just know it.

dalianjj has stated that they eventually want to do everything, so I have no issue with when they choose to reveal stuff, regardless of how far away from release it is.

Gotta say this looks like it walked out of the show in all modes. A little bigger than I remember him from headmasters though. I think there is room for him on a shelf ... Not getting rid of MMC's though. MMC's has a detail style of the comics. Size is also on par I thought from previous media. However I like big bots and this is FT quality. Those transformations are right out of the show. Gotta put this on my list.

Barely looks any better than the TR Leader.

Despite the fact that I bet it costs about three times as much.

If only they would get to Cliffjumper sooner than later!! No offense meant to the new playa' Ace Collectibles, but that isn't IMHO an MP Cliffjumper. Nice he may be, but something essential is missing.

Because... mass shifting between episodes and even within the same episode?

Make the wheels bigger!! They stagger the small front to larger rear wheels like an exotic car. Just like their Springer, wheels too small.

For old school g1 blocky I'm going for the one I can obtain for less than $40. Clonedroid will remain my "mp" Sixshot. Although this and the dx9 do look magnificent.

I honestly thought he was much taller than Magnus. I always remembered him being heaps taller than Cyclonus in S3, who was supposedly the height of Ultra Magnus !!!!!

I'll still get Hanzo, there are things about him I like more. Like the feet, wolf mode and the fact he looks more modern than Hydra.
Hydra does come off looking a little dated, not all that fresh or new.
But that's me and maybe it'll look better in color, but his feet just remind me of a G1 toy since it comes out of a socket and leaves a hole in his shin. Kinda like how G1 Soundwave looks. But there are a few nice things like the tank and jet modes. Both clean and compact !!

Mass shifting huh. How bout we call a spade a spade and all agree that mp22 is way to big cause he's always depicted as Optimus prime height in the toon. So now we got these six shots that are massive just to square off against mp22

So many SixShot toys that are all going for the MP look and even the Hasbro toy is basically a G1 toy with some updated articulation. So many options I think I'll just wait for the reviews.

Eh, as much as I love love love FT, this and Weirdwolf just aren't interesting to me. I need the other '84-'86 bots before I get all excited for Headmasters and whatnot.
