I had a FT replacement part get lost in the mail, had them send a 2nd and ot arrived just fine. Maybe try again?

 

I've contacted them twice about it, once last march-ish, once last fall. I can try again...

 

My 2nd time I made sure to bug them about a tracking number.

yep, he said he sent it twice (which I believe) and they must have gotten lost, then refunded me. 100% professional and really appreciate it

 

When FT says they've sent a part out, always ask for the tracking number. They never provide the tracking number automatically, you have to ask them for it. That way you can see for yourself where the shipment is and verify on your end if it was actually sent out.

I would try again though. It must have been a one off fluke because I and many others have always gotten parts delivered from them.

 

Any chance of this being reissued? I kinda want a MP sixshot, but DX9 is getting hard to track down, and secondary market prices on this guy are insane...

 

I’d say it’s definitely unlikely. It was a shelf warmer, still pretty available at retail from late 2018 up until May 2020. It only started drying up in the pandemic FT craze, so I doubt they’d want to put more out. Another Lupus situation.

I’d say if you want this one to go for it sooner than later because what seems high now will get a lot higher later.

 

I appreciate the thought, but not a chance. I see way more value in the DX9 version at $170 than the FT version at $400.

FT collectors seem like a cult, lol. I'm shocked anyone thinks paying that price is a good idea...

Yeah, I passed on this guy for retail because I figured they'd make another version without the metallic paint. I'm not gonna pay 2-3x that price now just because of FOMO. No Thanks and I'm still sure a non-metallic version will be released.

 

Its 400 now? Might be time to box Hydra up and throw it on ebay, because I got it to replace dx9.... and its been years and I don't want to replace dx9

DX9 version is perfectly fine. I have both, since I could not decide if I wanted a Sixshot with blue or green color for the chest area. Ended up keeping both since both were nice representations. If I had to choose I think I would keep Hydra, but that's down to personal taste. I would definitely not pay 400 for Hydra though.

 

Get the new metallic Fuuma, you can't get a better Sixshot than that at an "affordable price", unless you want a G1 Sixshot.

 

Good recommendation but I really want something MP scale!
