Want mine? I really don't love Hydra... I think I prefer Hanzo.

I just don't understand Sixshot has fans.
He has 5 idiots modes that looks like nothing, except robot mode is cool.
Maybe get one of him when it dries up, he goes for 400. :D

I hooked up with Sixshot because when I was kid, there was a super cool ad and I couldn't afford this dreamy toy.
Even look back now after more than 30 years, this ad is still as cool as before.

Of course, at that time I never wonder why Sixshot can have a son. :D

That part in the cartoon when he took down all of the Arialbots was a big enough ad for him.
Back then, i thought " wow, this one is cool ".
Then i saw the toy and how the alt modes looks like. Then it was " wtf are these modes suppose to be? ", they look like nothing.
Had the legends takara version of him and sold him off.
Was fun for 6 minutes. hahaha

See? That's the difference, u actually owned him, while I could only day dreaming back then... That's why I don't care what his other modes look like, as long as I can have one finally. ;)

I owned him last year, not when i was a kid.
And i can tell you that he's not that great. If you ask me which mode of him i like the best, i can't answer you.
Only thing i can say is " if you like it, then it's a win ".

Oh, last year is a different story. I bought a G1 sixshot about 5 years ago, didn't even bother to transform it, it's more like holding to a piece of childhood. :D

Sixshot's appeal to me is his robot mode design. That, and the nostalgia of wanting him, like how xueyue2 was describing. Plus, having stupid alt modes never stopped fans from liking characters such as Perceptor or Galvatron.

He was one of my favorite G! toys as a kid, I liked coming up with other modes for him. Developed a soft spot for him due to that.

You think they're idiotic; I prefer to think of them futuristic - not unlike most other vehicle-mode transformers during the Headmasters and Masterforce eras.
Personally, I always liked transformers who had that little bit more to them (than meets the eye ;) ): Triple Changers (including Baseformers), Combiners etc - rather than just simple robots that had single alt modes and nothing much else.
So when I first saw Sixshot as a kid, I was in ecstasy!
Who cares if his various modes were OTT and 'out there' (even as a kid, I could tell what they were supposed to be); in my child-like wonder, he was like this ultimate transformer!!!
Of course, other candidates for the title came and went after that (Quickswitch, RID Megatron and Galvatron etc), but Sixshot always retained that special place for me (hence my avatar).
Once, I even constructed a fully-transformable version out of Lego - based solely on stock pictures - years before I ever acquired a second-hand G1 Sixshot (FTR, I pretty much nailed it!) You know you're a Sixshot fan when you go to that much effort!
Along with my G1 version, I now have Terminus Hexatron, TR Sixshot, and Hydra; and they are all among my favourite figures in my collection. (IIRC, Optimus Prime, Megatron, and maybe Bumblebee are about the only characters that I have more versions of than Sixshot; I've been streamlining my collection for some time now).
To this day, I love transforming any of those versions of Sixshot back-and-forth (often to recreate the Rebirth fight scene, which is my quintessential image of him). Maybe that's it; just the simple fun of being able to do so much with one figure; by turning him into so many different things.
    So yeah, that's why he's my all-time fav - alt-modes and all!

Its just my opinion about the character.
If you like him, then you like him.
    I don't.
He was cooler in the headmasters japanese version.
It's just his forms doesn't look like anything.
You may say that it's all cybertronian forms.

"Not understanding why a character has fans" is different from just "not liking a character", especially when you admit "he was cooler in the Headmasters Japanese version", but it's apparently not a valid reason for a character to have fans

Wolf mode looks pretty good to me... that's it though. I got this guy and have never even tried transforming to the other modes. :p

I think only Hanzo from DX9 is still available. Fuuma and Hydra are out of stock everywhere.
